This is great to see! I have noticed that the average Porsche driver is not quite the same as the average Taycan slash Macan EV driver, and I'd rather hang out with the latter.
I go to a lot of Porsche meets, 2 this weekend. Rarely does the group consider the Taycan a real Porsche.PCA established the club's first EV Technical Coordinator over a year ago and has been working to incorporate EV-related aspects and activities. I think David is on this forum as well. I drove my Tacan 4 CT from Austin to the Birmingham Parade in the summer of 2024 and the trip was pretty easy. The hotel had no idea how to charge my car but the dealership was very accommodating.
Sorry to hear that. I love my 911 as well but they're just different cars and scratch different itches. I'd also counter that Porsche would beg to differ as they're the ones that put a badge on it. Electric is the future, not that anyone here needs convincing.I go to a lot of Porsche meets, 2 this weekend. Rarely does the group consider the Taycan a real Porsche.
Most of the time I have to explain why the name Turbo is used.

Last EV event I went to, it was all Teslas, a Bolt and myself.Anybody know if the all Electric Porsche group is legit or if it's just a bunch of reincarnated "Tesla Bros"? I think there is merit in having an electric specific club at this point in Porsche's journey.
