I was the only car charging, but I wonder how it works during the season. Perhaps the first driver chooses, then the hope is that everyone else parks parallel to that first EV?

the cables for tesla wall chargers are 24ft long, really no need to park diagnally.

That doesn't make sense.. Destination charger cables are long enough.

Is the access road next to these chargers one-way? If so, diagonally means front of the car farther in the direction of travel of that road. If it's a two way street, you were parked backwards @Jonathan S. At least that is how I would understand it.

The nine units are on the edge of a vast parking lot, which is full (or nearly so) only when it’s used for shuttle parking during the Killington World Cup races over Thanksgiving weekend. Otherwise, Pico has been the forgotten stepchild ever since it was bought by Killington, with each successive owner never fulfilling the goal of the interconnect (aka the Neverconnect).

I try to take the end spots where I won’t impact the other chargers. I’ve also parked on the other side of the charger and run the cable behind the charger if I can park parallel to the curb behind the charger. If I can’t & my best parking job makes it difficult for someone else to fit in the space next to me then I just apologize to others trying to charge if all the spots are taken. The good thing for me when I need to use a Tesla charger it’s in the desert on the way to LV where there are 100s of chargers or worst case 20+ so they are never full when I’m coming through.
Also Tesla has been raising their prices for charging so I’m better off using EA on the few trips each year where I’ll pay the $7 for the upgraded service for 30 days to get the 25% or more discount depending on time of day. I cancel immediately afterward so that it will automatically stop after 30 days.

Bit off topic. I am considering a 2025 4s.. I have seen some versions with a “performance plus” battery option. I cannot get a clear answer as to what this means?
