I'm selling my well optioned CT4 (was $106k) and still has CPO warranty until 10.27. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicle/778122218

I got a firm offer for $50k but would love to move it for $54-455k.

Do you think I have a chance to get it for $54k?

Reason to sell it: I'm moving to Europe and cannot ship it. Likely will get the new Cayenne.

I’m moving in two months so I have a bit of time to shop around. Some of the dealers offered me 45k and I have a carfax offer of $54k

Depending when you are moving… 50 is a real offer…

Considering it takes a dealer 45 to 90 days to sell one and even longer for a GTS… I wouldn’t push the sale too far…what specs is your car? That’s the most important.

you already have a carmax offer in hand for $54k? Meaning they visually inspected and gave you this verbal?

If so I would take it ASAP bc:
1. it hit your range
2. car is depreciating every month, in two months, it's material

Some suggestions of improving the number:
1. private sale typically gets a better number than outright sale to dealers.
2. Learn MMR and negotiate. Dealers quote you MMR + discount. Some use a MMR variant they derive (Autonation, CarMax), but pricing in the market is driven off of MMR
3. Get a visual inspection and quote from a Porsche dealer. They know product the best, they can CPO it, which gives them a bigger margin for resale, so they may be able to give you MMR.
4. Do a trade, (not an option for you?). You said you want the Cayenne, Cayenne EV deliveries are currently Dec 2026 and Jan 2027 last time I checked. So you could trade and order, and the dealer can take the trade today. Trade sometimes gives you a better price bc they make a margin on your purchase.

I got an online one, not a in store one. I'm sure it will be lower when I go in person. The Car is already CPO so it has more value to a private person to buy it.

I scheduled a warranty check in May 15 for a TPSM sensor and I will try to see if the dealer wants to buy it.
Thanks for all the advices. I would love to trade but I can't.

It breaks my heart I need to sell this car (not the money) as it love it

Candidly, your photos in the link you provided are not helping your case. You might want to lower the car all the way and take new photos that show off the beautiful lines. If I were you though, I'd try to get that $54K from wherever the offer came from.

you'll be surprised. For Carmax get an online quote, and then go in, tell them you don't have a quote, they will quote you, and then you compare your online with in person.

Agreed CPO would be a value for a private sale. Post it on Cars.com too and local FB Marketplace.

agreed. to get some serious buyers, take pictures that aren't in an alley. find a nice backdrop, large parking lot or top of a parking garage, or a even just a local park or something with some space.

and get a picture of the build sheet. it was one of the hardest things for me to find when i was looking, and if it was included i was more likely to reach out to the seller.

I'd go for the 54K$ right now if it's a serious offer, and free your mind for something else!

Get the Cayenne Coupé, it's beautiful :)

not much of a choice then I guess, but if you were alone to decide ? lol...
I saw this video showing 2 superimposed images of a Taycan & Cayenne EV coupé, it really looks like a higher/bigger Taycan but with extremely close proportions, and the more I look out there, the more I'm not finding any other design I like more than my Taycan.
So the C-EV coupé looks like a perfect choice to have more space (my son is getting too tight in the Taycan, 1,92m & growing lol), and keep this design I love.
But hey, to each their likes & needs

It's here at 40s in the video (French sorry) :
