Hey Forum! Some of you have been along the journey from questions, to build, to now delivery. It's finally here, actually came on Fathers day, so cool gift. So Ive had it maybe 2 weeks and due to the wait, had purchased some little personalization bits before the car even arrived. Based on simply seeing the low spec'd Taycans at the dealership and never seeing anything close to mine in person, I wanted to improve upon a few things I noticed. As a whole I wanted to minimize the plastic in the car and spice up the semi-dull interior from what I had seen, all while adding small protection layers. I added some Race-Tex & leather when possible in the config to help reduce the plastics and went super high spec, so there wasn't too much more I could do. I do have experience doing these similar parts on my MB GLE and it makes a clean, sporty, unique difference. (Window button cover, Interior Door Handle Guards, Carbon Fiber seat guards, and the thing I wanted most was the door lower kick covers. They always looked too scuffed and dirty, so I tried a fix)
The drive, the car..simply wonderful. I was so used to my AMG that this little car is fun. It's a fun difference. I get in and actually appreciate the nuances. I love love love how quiet it is. To be fair I haven't driven it too much before my PPF appointment, all things life, and how it's motorcycle season...rather I've just been tinkering with it while watching the World Cup in the car getting distracted! I did put a whopping 30 miles on it though. I like the PCM and how strange it is vs my Mercedes. Sure a lot of similarities in regards to safety systems, but the quirks and things some other might not like, I don't care to worry about. I actually appreciate the differences between the 2 vehicles.
I'll eventually post some pics when it's cleaned and all done but here's a sneak peak of the build, and some of the work thus far. Again, small things that make a cool difference and pics don't do it proper justice. It's a wonder Porsche doesn't just do this themselves as add on's. Good thing is that everything is removable too. What's not pictured is the carbon fiber spoiler (just haven't done yet), and the carbon fiber B-pillar parts. Im still debating putting the latter on but it does match perfectly with the carbon mirrors, and carbon sports package.

). Also, it looks like you didn't add tinted windows, and I think the car looks so much better without the rear tinted windows (fortunately one can add the insulation glass, which is a given, without the tinting). If it was only possible, I would remove the rear window tinting on my car...
