Porsche Taycan 4S 2021 - Unable to fast charge with electrify America post SW recall upd

On August 9th, I took my porsche to the dealer to get the recall software update installed. Two weeks later, I still cannot fast charge my Taycan 4s using electrify america, big problem. Anyone else with my year and model with the recall software update having charging problems?

I just had my 2021 4S updated today and drove straight to an EA charging station and no problems with plug and fast charge to 84%.

Thanks are you able to show the work order from Porsche ? Like to compare to mine. I have felt all along they screwed up something in the update process.

mine charges fine post software update - it’s either your local EA stations or your vehicle - have you tried charging at EVGo or ChargePoint or some other fastDC charger?

one thing that seems to be a help, it worked at my last 3 stops at 150 kw units is to leave the car on when plugging in.

I have never turned the car off before plugging in and never had plug-n-charge not work. I'll have to try turning off one time at EA stop.

plug in and charge is disabled in my car because of the 19.2 kw onboard charger conflict issues which remains unresolved. I feel that porsche should refund the money that I spent to have a problem that they baked into the car.

Approx where are you located in S.Fla? I am also in S.Fla (close to Champion) but I have not tried EA charging since the update. If you let me know which charging sites you have tried I can stop by in the next few days and give it a try.

Thanks. I have not tried EVGo or any non EA stations. Porsche engineering is trying to sort out. It may very well be EA station SW differences by region? I don't like that answer. We need to be able to travel interstate and it would be a real source of frustration to randomly try to charge on a road trip out of your region.. I will update what the solution eventually is..

Approx where are you located in S.Fla? I am also in S.Fla (close to Champion) but I have not tried EA charging since the update. If you let me know which charging sites you have tried I can stop by in the next few days and give it a try.

I am in Fort Lauderdale and have tried the Walmart off Broward. Also, another one near Porsche West Broward couple miles away. And a third in cooper city? I am still new to the area..
