What are folks hearing about delivery dates for September 2021 USA Orders

Exact same thing just happened to me today. My order was done in August with a Sept 10 Production start date. Bumped to Sept 17 with mid Nov delivery. My Freeze date changed several times in TYD as well. From mid August, to late August, to today 9/1. Hopefully that's it as far as delays and we end up with a speedy boat and port unloading.

Yes, seems we might be on the same production time and boat, hopefully no more delays!

Damn, I have a 9/13 freeze date for a MY2022 and supposed to delivery 11/26 but somehow I doubt I'll even get it this year based on this thread.

There have been so many changes that I have lost track. Originally said delivey was to be Sept 3rd. I have a VIN & My Porsche home page shows that it is complete - level 3. TYD shows production started July 20th & to be complete Sept 10th, on vessel Oct 8th, delivery Oct 22??

at the risk of repeating myself, I ordered my car in early-mid May with an original EDD of 08/06. My dates have changed so many times that it’s been difficult to keep up. Like you, my build entered production on 07/20 but my new estimated production completion date is two weeks later than you on 09/24.

I have no VIN as of yet but my car is definitively a ‘21, as per my dealer, and my estimated delivery date now stands at 11/05.

Same here. Yesterday saw the freeze date move from 9/29 to 10/7, then today saw delivery move from 12/10 to 12/24. Make it happen Santa.

Damn, I just checked TYD and my delivery date got pushed out by a week. Locked in a order at the end of July for a Mid-September production. Looks like that got pushed to October with a delivery estimated on Black Friday.

My 2022 order was placed end of July and freeze point was 8/27 was set for the Sep 3 production and just today the date jumped to sep 17 production and delivery shows mid November now, so it seems it did get pushed up. What was more surprising was the order was placed in July and TYD showed that date all along only to update the date of order created to 8/31 all of a sudden yesterday.

So my TYD just got delayed again. Now it shows November 26. It was originally September 3rd then October 22 and now this. This was supposed to be a MY21, with this rate it will arrive in 22 as a MY21

I don’t understand this system at all - my order was mid/July orig freeze Sep 3 and del Nov 19. Then bumped to freeze Oct29 and del Jan 14, 2022. What models are you guys buying and in gen are they heavily optioned? Can only believe that my fully optioned 4S simply requires every semiconductor on the planet and why delayed so much more!

EDIT: just relooked at it now and dates have changed yet again! Now saying freeze Oct 16 and del Dec 31 !! I seriously doubt my car will arrive Dec 31 - need to stop looking at TYD !

Me too. Just went from Oct 22 to Dec 3rd. At this rate there is a chance of loosing the Federal Tax Credit for a year or possibly altogether. Damn!

Spoke too soon. Since my last posting on this thread about an hour ago my dates have changed. My car should now complete production nearly 3 months after production started; 07/20 to 10/15 and the delivery date has now changed to three weeks later… 11/26.

I have a 10% deposit on mine, and I would not think dealers would give the deposits back without a fight.

John your car and mine too. Was it on the Siem Aristotle? I had my dealer pull their internal report and the hold on mine is the TPM ( also 1 key, manual steering column, and cellphone charger but it can be sold with these missing).​
