After searching extensively for a CPO nationwide, I found only one with all the options and interior color that I was looking for however noticed it's white instead of carrara white metallic. While I prefer the look of the carrara white metallic (which I've seen in person) when comparing the two online (looking at various comparisons on this site too), I haven't seen the regular white in person. I was wondering if anyone has seen both in person and find the difference subtle enough where it really wouldn't manner to them enough to turn down getting an otherwise perfect car. For background, it would be sitting in a parking ground vs on display in front of a driveway (where you really notice it more when walking up to it). Thanks for the input.

Short answer - no biggie.

I have owned, both colors, but not on a Taycan, and CWM was underwhelming. The regular white is a classic and I would wager is the Taycan launch color when it came out and was touring the world shows.

I have seen both. Online they look quite similar. In person less so. Head on over to your local Porsche dealer to have a gander, in person, at the paint samples.

I second what the guys above said. Hope on that quick. Can wrap, PPF it to any spectrum in the rainbow if it truly bothers ya. Can never go wrong with classic white, as it’s in the same color hue as the other option anyway, vs. being far different.

Hope it works out for ya. No regrets!

White is a good base for a wrap. We didn’t like any of the stock colors on our Carrera so order it in white. 3M PPF. No regrets.

I currently own both. Cararra white on my Taycan and pure white on my Boxster. Although I prefer the Cararra white, I would be happy with either one on either car.

Swing by a dealership and at the very least ask to see the paint samples. If it's a big enough dealer, good change you can find cars in both colors on the lot to compare. I learned from past experience to always see the color in person. I once owned a 911 in Biarritz White, it was my first Porsche, I think the sales guys snuck in that option code for some extra profit (before online configurators, I asked for white during our configuration session, got back what I would best describe as eggshell white which looked white enough until parked next to an actual white car). I then had similar experience with Lexus Pearl White - when parked in my garage next to my wife's white car, it looked yellowed - looked great on its on in full sun though.

When I was ordering the Taycan, I compared white and carrara white on two Macans that happened to be on the lot at the time. Carrara white is a cooler white which I chose, but the difference is not a stark one, you have to look closely to see it (especially in cloudy weather). That said, I'm glad I chose the Carrera White as it is the same as the Glacier White Metallic on my wife's Audi, even the paint code is the same (LS9R) - free base color IIRC. It is also extremely close to Tesla's White Metallic (my wife's previous car). Why do I care? Well, still remember how my Lexus pearl white looked like a yellow tooth next to my wife's actually white car parked in the garage.

No biggie. Carrara has a bit more depth and shine. But only knowers will know.
