Downforce increased more than 3x vs. the standard car
At 200 km/h: downforce goes from 95 kg → 310 kg
At top speed: produces ~740 kg of total downforce
New rear wing with enlarged end plates
Optimised front diffuser
High-performance rear diffuser with extended fins
Enlarged air deflectors on the underbody
Carbon aerodiscs on rear wheels
Rear wing and front diffuser are adjustable (low or high downforce setup)
Top speed increased from 305 → 310 km/h

Powertrain
Max discharge current increased from 1,100 → 1,300 amps
System power output up 20 kW → 600 kW total
Max torque (Launch Control) up 30 Nm → 1,270 Nm
Attack Mode boost increased to 130 kW (10-second burst)
Peak 10-second output: 730 kW (up from 700 kW)

Specially tuned Porsche Active Ride system
Retuned front and rear axle steering
Retuned all-wheel drive
Larger brake discs: 440 mm front / 410 mm rear
Upgraded performance brake pads

Wheels & Tires
New 21-inch forged aluminum "Manthey" wheels — lighter than standard despite being larger
Titanium wheel bolts to reduce unsprung weight
Wheels are 3+ kg lighter than the already lightweight Weissach Package wheels
Optional road-legal track tires (Pirelli P ZERO Trofeo RS): 4 cm wider at front, 3 cm wider at rear

Exterior / Visual
Exposed carbon fiber body add-ons throughout, including:
Upper and lower wheel arch vents
Front and rear wheel arch extensions
Widened side skirts

The most awesome Taycan ever! But, then again, who tracks their Taycan, a four door grand touring EV? Go Manthey a GT3 for that, please.

I mean, to clarify, that I'm glad they did it, if only so that brands X, Y, and Z will stop claiming that their EVs are "faster than Porsche". But nobody should buy one.

I'm interested in the suspension and steering tuning. Maybe the wheel and tire setup too.

It is very impressive, I agree. But I keep thinking: I'm all in on EVs, and my Taycan is perfect or everyting that I do with a car. But around the Ring, I'd rather be sitting in a GT3 regardless. Heck, I'd rather 'Ring a Cayman GT4.

It reminds me of another example. I used to drive a Jaguar XKR-175. Great GT car. Someone took an XKR (XKR-S actually), stripped it out, modified it tons, and bolted on more aero. They made it into a "better" Jaguar for the track, as measured by lap times, but they made it an objectively worse Jaguar XKR overall.

I 100% agree, I would rather be in any manual transmission 911 around a track.

Impressive indeed, but mostly pointless. If they could achieve this sort of downforce with active aero only, so you can disengage it on normal roads, that would be more impressive and tailored to the car being a EV

I suspect that 3rd party shops will be able to offer these tunes before long, and the pads are likely 3rd party ones. So a "cheap" "20% manthey kit?"

The stupid battery weight penalty is the issue, no way around it.

You're probably right about the downforce.

In Sport Plus it's already a clearance nightmare. If the steering and suspension tuning was just in Sport plus I would do it. It needs to be a little more firm

Battery was about 50% at the finish.
