Yes it varies widely by model, tire size, tire type and load. When I go to the dealer I tell them to leave my tire pressures alone. They always want to put in 10 to 15 lb more. Full load at top pressure. Rides and handles terrible. Bouncing all over.
Again I've seen the pressure's change on the online manual albeit that should be the most up-to-date info. Not the data plate from manufacturing nor the paper copy in that glove box which truly can about only handle gloves. The LA Experience Center also confirmed the partial load pressures. That's where I picked up my car and then drove 1800 miles home.
Crazy in that the post above yours is @ 50psi. "Bouncing all over" perfectly describes my experience up to now. I haven't taken the car out yet with the 33/32 mix but I'll be interested to see how that feels. FWIW I don't think all dealerships have the best info on this car.

So that was an interesting exercise and thanks for sharing it. I went to MyPorsche to find Owners Manual for my model and to my shock it recommends 33 psi front and 32 rear for partial load! That's about 5 psi below what the tire company put in. Then I went to TPMS to see what it recommended for "20 inch summer tire" and it says 35 front/33 rear. What to believe!? I went back to the tires and matched the manuals recommendations of 33/32. Will be interesting to see how it rides and I will report back to y'all.
Use the latest data from Porsche on this: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11015166-0001.pdf

My manual says partial load of 33 front, 35 back, cold temp, which is what I run. Seems to run fine.

The app tells me to go up to 36 front, 39 back, but I've ignored it.

Good info although that information is a year and a half old. Most up-to-date is the online owners manual as I watched it change the settings for my model down in pressures.
I'm not sure the manual is any more up to date... they get created way ahead of time.

Strange, must be regional differences. In the manual available at "My Porsche" for my car, it simply points to the advice provided by the PCM. There are no tables containing suggested tyre pressure(s).

The app is correct, that's also what all the J1.2 have printed on the door label.

That's not what my J1.2 says on the door label. Perhaps you mean for narrower wheels.
Porsche Taycan So I bought the Michelin CC2 and I dunno - did I make a mistake {filename}
Note the statement in the upper yellow section.
Then go to your owner's manual on the My Porsche app. You probably will have to download it. Then in search box put in tire pressure and pick "tire pressure tables" from the choices. There you will see all the settings for the different sizes, tire type and choices of partial load or full load. The online manual shows them lower than what's on my door plate for "full load." If I have three to four passengers and their stuff then I'm at full load. Otherwise 98% of the time I'm at partial load.

Wow a lot of convos since I posted this. Nobody "tired" of this subject?

I went ahead and got the psi down to 33 front, 32 rear as per the specs in the online owners manual for my MY and partial load. I have to say it IS better, not bouncing around as much as before, but I am still not loving it. The car doesn't feel glued to the freeway as it does for other cars I've driven (like my 911). I am still leaning to swapping them for Michelin Sport 4S but would love to hear from others running the CC2 on a Taycan coupe.

There are slick compounds still in and on the tire and they need to be worn off and set up by temperature patterns so give it 500 miles.

I need to see if I can get more miles on them before the window closes for returning/swapping. Was hoping to hear from others with the same equipment.
