According to Car & Driver, the U.S. availability of the estate version for the AMG CLA 45 will be the same as for the sedan.

Unfortunately, for as much as we'd like the chance to test the electric AMG CLA45, a representative for Mercedes told Car and Driver that the model won't be sold in the United States. Instead, we'll have to be content with the more economical CLA-class EV options.

Except it will not be available in the US. We get screwed in the US - no Chinese brands, Euro brands pulling out (no CLA45, no Taycan CT/ST, etc). I suppose our current administration will do whatever is necessary, including starting WW3 if required, to force US consumers to buy Fords, GMs, and Chryslers (perhaps to a lesser degree sing Stellantis)?

A few caveats on the new AMG CLA 45 that may (or may not) be important to you:

• The battery is not the same high performance battery available in the GT 4 door coupe (C590) but shared with the GLC EQ SUV with a max, charge of 330 KW ( https://mbpassion.de/2026/07/merced...uss-motoren-praegen-das-neue-antriebskonzept/ )

In unrelated news (as regards the AMG CLA), the GT 4 door coupe (C590) launch seems to have generated sufficient interest, so that the 1st quarter allocation had sold out on May, 27th, ( https://mbpassion.de/2026/06/ausverkauft-am-ersten-tag-amg-gt-4-tuerer-startet-durch/ ) and delivery times are currently 6 to 8 months ( https://jesmb.de/34582/ ).

There are also rumors that more variants on top of the 2x AMG GT55 & AMG GT63 available at launch may be planned as suggested:

• AMG GT 43 (approx. 476 PS)
• AMG GT 45 4matic (more than 544 PS)
• AMG GT 53 4matic (816 PS)
• AMG GT 63 4matic+ (1.169 PS)
