What is a typical 100-200 time without the tune? There is a very noticeable difference, I developed the whole thing on my Turbo S.
From a roll it's almost 2 seconds faster 100-200...
How much SoC did you test with?
The Apple/Android App?you could also use carscanner and check how many PS you get when you floor it with both units.
He does not need car scanner or any dongles, as we have a datalogger that we provide free of charge, which works with the Enet cable that was used for the order and that the customer already has.yes. you would also need an ODB2 dongle but that is cheap
100-200 from a roll without tune should be 8 seconds or above. What is a typical 100-200 time without the tune?
I was at 90% SoC when I did my initial seat of the pants testing.
I'll do quite a bit of additional testing once the dragy gets here. I got a nice flat stretch of road close to my house. I think the slope is less than 1%.
Never, but that wouldn’t be tune related. On Tuesday I was driving about 40 minutes to the airport and noticed some strange behavior from the car. As I was coming to a stop, before getting on the freeway, the braking re-gen felt very odd. It was almost like caliper brakes grabbing and then slipping. I did not think much of it but then as I accelerated onto the freeway, the car felt like it was trying to shift it's gear too early (well before 80 mph) and the power felt off. Later into my drive the car was cutting power. I could not accelerate to overtake cars on the freeway, the car maintained speed no problem and could slowly accelerate, but no real power at all. After I exited the freeway, I tried to quickly accelerate and the car cut power again. It felt like it had about 50HP. No errors on the dash at all the whole time.
I was out of town for about 30 hours and when I got back to the airport, the car drove 100% fine all the way home.
The reason I am posting here because I have a MAPEV ASG installed and I am wondering if it could be something with the ASG/tune or something more serious with the car that I should be concerned about.
Has anyone seen this type of behavior?
Usually this without any error messages is due to too hot battery, you can bring up the battery temp gauge on the dash and check. On Tuesday I was driving about 40 minutes to the airport and noticed some strange behavior from the car. It was my assumption that the tune had nothing to do with it, but thought I would check. I checked the battery temp gauge at the time, and it was below the red line, so I don't think that is the issue. It has not happened since so maybe a one-time fluke? Time will tell.Usually this without any error messages is due to too hot battery, you can bring up the battery temp gauge on the dash and check.
The coolant pump fails quite often on these - I have seen the failure on multiple cars.
For sure not tune related though.
