I’m currently doing that with my MY21 right now since I’ll be away for 4-5 weeks. Left the SoC at 45% and plugged in. No timers obviously.

I am a frequent international traveler I often travel for over a month. Before I leave the country I always set a timer at 50% SOC with pre-climate early in the morning (the ambient temp is low at that time so 1hr of pre-climate doesnt waste too much power) so that the 12V battery would get charged. Never had an issue.

Of course it is. It always has been on those cars that don't have 12V battery issues.
As I said, I literally just left my car for 2 months in my garage plugged in. Didn't access it remotely and it had zero timers.

Even if you don't plug it in, it'll still charge the 12V battery.
My PR is 4 weeks so it'll probably survive 8 weeks as well.
I never ever had any issues with my 12V battery in more than 6 years.
Had several timers active and I watched the app a few times, no problem whatsoever.

PS: I now don't even have to check the app or start up the car.

For anyone who still has problems with the 12 Volt then make Porsche do the firmware update. I had problems for two years and thought I would have to use a battery conditioner everytime I went away. Then Porsche brought out the firmware fix last year to fix the few cars with this problem and it has. I just leave the car and it automatically charges the 12 Volt battery from the big battery whenever the 12 Volt needs it. Total fix. Does not even need to be plugged in so long as you leave it with at least 50% or so charge.

Embarrassingly, I’m still unclear how to leave the Taycan plugged in without it going to 100% on the second day. Currently, my strategy is to set to 65% timer for the next day, and another timer two years from now. I tried setting a 65% profile (minimum), and one time it seemed to hold for a couple of weeks, and subsequently I tried the same thing, and it went to 100% the second day. Arrrgh.

Don’t use timers. Turn all timers off and use a profile set to the SoC you want. For long term storage, don’t set the profile higher than 50%
