I was in a Panamara 4 Platinum Edition. Debatable whether that's "comparable" to a TTS. That being said, better than a base Macan or an Enterprise rental like our friends from across the pond.
They did comp fuel though.
VERY excited to finally take delivery of a brand new 2023 Porsche High Voltage Battery, shipped fresh from Germany. My local dealer was kind enough to package my new battery in a beautiful gentian blue 2020 Taycan Turbo S (pictured below) that was sitting on their lot for months (and is also...
I'll sell my PMCC for only $1350 and I'll ship for free! I also have a used HV battery to offer, but that will be pick-up only. Both will be sold as is
Single owner car. When collected the car, it had less than 25 miles on it. I averaged about 1,000mi/mo., so I had give or take 20,000mi on my TTS when it crapped out. Zero issues with the car over the first almost 2 years of ownership.
Came back from a short trip away where it hadn't been...
Long story short: I've been without my 2020 Taycan Turbo S since mid-January of this year. It's been just about 4 months since I've been able to drive it. I had the dreaded red electrical fault and, since that time, it's been sitting at my local dealer awaiting a HV battery from Germany. I'm...
Whenever I'm in a bad mood, I swing by my favorite place to "launch" on my way home from work. Immediately brightens my mood. Nothing like launching a TTS.
Good luck. I'm one of the ones waiting on a battery. It took my dealer two visits to diagnose. On the first trip, the error never appeared in the time it was there despite their testing. On the second trip, the error wouldn't clear. About 5-7 days later they got the word from Germany that I...
My issues started January 20. It was about 2 weeks later when my dealer, working with Porsche Germany determined I need a new HV battery (about February 3). When I pressed a week later on timing, I was told that I was, at that time, number 19 of people in the US waiting for a new HV battery...
@PDACPA have you gotten any further updates on when the parts will arrive and the repair completed? I was just told that there are 18 cars in the US waiting on HV batteries from Germany and I'm number 19, meaning I'm looking at multiple months before my Taycan is repaired. Not happy.
@tigerbalm your trip reports are one of, if not the, highlight of this forum for me. They've always been so informative and immersive. But I have to say, your inclusion of 4k video from both the car and a drone take it to another level. Watching them in full resolution on my 36" screen at...
Interesting that in your situation they're replacing just the faulty cell and in mine they're replacing the whole battery. Sounds like identical issues.
That was my understanding too, but like you said, nothing wrong with a new battery and it's probably not much more of a wait time than replacing cells.
