I glossed over the small loss you mentioned, so you'd have to carry forward any excess loss to future years.
Sorry to hear about the trading difficulties by the way, but also good that you're catching up
From purely a tax point of view I have a couple of things I can add:
As a lease the 50% you can claim back is regarding the VAT. The company can reclaim 100% of the VAT on any maintenance element of the lease, and 50% on the finance element.
The net cost after VAT reclaim is fully deductible...
It is naff, I do actually manage to access it one-handed whilst in the driver's seat. I don't class myself as particularly agile, and it's not an excuse for the poor design either. It's still a poor design and it seems incomprehensible why it wasn't designed to stay open when one wants it to...
I have 18 way without ventilation, and whilst they're not called comfort seats, I wouldn't say they were overly comfortable. I think the seat heating works really well and I like how the heat is distributed, but that's the only positive thing I'd say for them over, for example, the standard spec...
I don't know if I'm talking about the same thing then. I just mean the button on the steering wheel, picture of the battery. Hit that and I get the engine braking effect when I lift off the accelerator. Press it again and I don't.
I prefer to do that as it's easy and seems smoother than using...
I really hope this is BS! At work I park what must be pretty much bang on 10m away from my desk. So I've just moved my key to the far end of the office! ? Might have to park an extra 1m away from now on just in case.
Really don't want to get stuck at work.
That sounds a right faff and not at all enjoyable. I can't comment on the charging stopping issues either as never experienced it, although it has been a steep learning curve at public charge stations for me.
Last week I went on a near 350 mile round trip, for a funeral (in case I'm covid...
So battery at 31% when I got home, temp was 27C. Power meter had still not moved down at all. Quite pleased with that. Preheated for 10 mins or so before leaving work
Going to try roughly the same tomorrow without preheating at all
Ideally want to get below 30% to see what happens, should’ve...
I’ve started to take to switching regen on if say someone pulls out in front on the motorway and I know taking my foot off won’t slow me down quite enough. Prefer to switch regen on than hit the brakes. Tested it on the commute today, finding it works pretty nicely for me
I was messing around after I parked up this morning, thankfully on the flat, trying to get a photo of power meter & battery temp etc. In park it didn't show, so put into D and Hold to see if that worked. Obviously it didn't so I decided it wasn't important, then if I remember correctly I put it...
On arrival at work this morning, charge level 60%, battery temp 22C and the power meter had not dropped since I first got in at 85% with battery pre-heated to 12C.
I understand what is being said about the power meter only being full with launch control, I have definitely read somewhere that...
Thanks. Yes I went for the gtechniq dealer option. No other experience of that sort of thing but am pleased with it, easier to clean & get that nice water repellent effect. Just a shame the roads are so grimy this time of year
Finally taken a few photos of mine while clean, I only have 3 angles for all my car photos, and these are them! Only had the car since Aug.
Love the colour of the paint. If I had to spec it again I think I’d go for the Taycan exclusive wheels instead, but still very pleased with how these look
I tend to stick with normal most the time on my daily commute. Speed bumps round the corner so normal allows me to waft over those nicely, and then there are several dips and holes in the road thereafter, and the traffic is usually just a rolling 80mph queue so I don’t see the need to get out of...
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you don’t get those conditions too often.
This reminds me of a time with a car I had around 15 years ago where something similar happened, hopefully it lightens the situation. Parked over at a mate’s house, in Winter. Went to leave the next day and had to de-ice...
I know ? I love taking my older cars out when it’s colder. I was trying to console myself, that ICE cars do have similar weather related performance fluctuations, but they’re just nowhere near as big.
I’m very apprehensive about my next drive in the car now. I hope I can’t notice it but I feel...
