I personally don’t like the mission E rims at all. I think the best looking OEM rims are the black RS Spyder rims. They are specific to the GTS model so if you don’t mind having GTS specific rims on a non GTS car then that’s what I suggest. If that does bother you then the aftermarket Vossen...
I agree I think that is how you delete items from the PCM. I’m trying to figure out how to delete that specific smart lift point when it doesn’t have the address.
I have a 6 lane road near my house that I use almost daily. Months ago I was entering a driveway on the other side of this 6 lane road to go to a supermarket. I used the smart lift and when prompted to save the point I panicked and clicked yes. They only give you a few seconds to make a...
My ‘22 Taycan GTS is scheduled to get the recall addressed tomorrow. I have seen some posts about how replacing the heater has lead to massive battery issues and subsequently lots of time in the shop. My car has had zero issues with its heater and zero issues with the battery. Do you guys think...
I’ve heard that if you replace the windshield under a comp insurance claim due to rock chips the dealership has to do an alignment and recalibrate the sensors. So theoretically I can get a new windshield and alignment for a $500 deductible.
$800??? Wow, seems like a deal. Yesterday my dealership here in San Jose, CA quoted me $2,200 for a full front end alignment. To me that seems absolutely insane, but I'm not sure where else I can get it done.
Sounds good Richard. I am interested to see the pics of it fixed. We are in the Thousand Oaks neighborhood between Branham and Almaden Expressway. I'm on 87 all the time using the Capitol exit. 87 is so much nicer now that they paved it. I tried to avoid it before for my Taycan's sake, so many...
I too am in San Jose and I haven’t seen you around. Chalk GTS, I would have noticed. I had similar scapes from a piece of metal on the freeway from a truck. I took my Carrera White GTS to Michael & Co. on Lincoln Ave. near San Carlos Ave. Talk to Geddy and tell him I sent you. They have been...
Haha, what kind of referral do you offer? Austin is not on the list. I’m trying to get away from the homeless problem. My friends who are in Austin describe it as bad as CA. I’m thinking more like Eagle, ID, Utah, Scottsdale, AZ, Nashville, etc.
We aren’t talking politics. You said you were moving to CA and I asked why you would want to move to a place that is way overpriced, has terrible roads, homeless living all over, all while having the highest taxes in the country. Thousands and thousands have been leaving for the last 4-5 years...
I think the bigger question is why are you moving to CA? I’ve lived here for all of my 43 years and I can’t wait to leave. I’m in San Jose and this place is no where near as nice as it used to be. In fact it actually kinda sucks with the liberal policies, homeless people and their tents...
