My dealer (Cincinnati) said they had done 10 already and 4 in waiting. Said they expect to replace it again once Porsche have a new design available

Kind of. It has a GPS and alerts them of speed. They've phoned me three times so far! ? My commute is 12 miles freeway and it's killing me because I hit the limit before the end of the on-ramp. But I learnt that they don't phone on Sunday

Nice scenario - I like your logical thinking. In the 9 months I've owned a Taycan what I actually see is that I've only charged outside of my home 4 times - and they were on trips between cities. The reality (for me at least) is that I charge overnight at home and know that I'll have enough...

As someone that has issued hundreds of Press Releases, I can tell you that they should not be used as an authority of technical definitions. i.e. the premise of the OP that just because a Press Release says it, that it must be true is flawed. Clearly a personal opinion. For what it's worth...

Dropped mine at the Dealer yesterday. Told me they have fixed 6 others. Confirmed today that they have ordered a new heater and to expect 2-3 weeks. Loaned me a Macan for the duration

I'm interested in Step 1. I just leave my charger switched on all the time. Is that a problem?
