They don't look bad, just different than stock.
I thought the same after the initial install but, honestly, you forget all about the grills after a day or two and the peace of mind is well worth it.
And how many are using their Porsche mobile chargers blissfully unaware that their 40A EVSE has been derated through software to 20A and they never think to check it?
I hear the Tesla universal wall connector is pretty good ;)
As long as the wiring and outlet are sufficient, I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with using the PMCC as your primary EVSE. The concern may be trying to run it at full rated amps on an unfamiliar circuit and also that there are just so many better options available for far less...
In the distant future, I see this technology integrated into the roads so you don't need to carry so much battery weight in the vehicle; just enough for venturing off the grid. I could see it being useful for apartments or urban environments where you might just park in a spot rather than plug...
My 2 cents, if this build is exactly what you want and in your price range, it may be a nice deal. However, if you can find a close match in a 2023 CPO you'll likely save quite a bit of money and the warranty will be almost the same, since CPO extends two additional years.
Also just my opinion...
OP, I am using the Grizzl-E dumb charger along with profile and timer through my Taycan with no issues. Especially since this is just a loaner EVSE, I suggest you just give up trying to connect to WIFI.
Yes, and I actually like to keep sport sound on. But the car ain't shifting like the sport sound is trying to make me believe. ;)
I understand trying to avoid a droning sensation and if the shift noises were blended rather than how sport sound does it, I'd probably be an even bigger fan of...
Probably happened when OP twisted the cable so he could plug it in ?
Seriously, though, if the receptacle is still damaged as shown in the first photo, perhaps that is causing the error?
Yes (up to 80A circuit), but the Chargepoint is still limited to 50A output, regardless of the circuit breaker you choose. That's also listed in the install guide.

I got to see the 2024 and 2025 (US non-Turbo) next to each other at my dealership last Thursday. The differences are small but still noticeable if you are looking. I saw a bit of 4th Gen Toyota Supra in the new headlights but that might just be me :)
Probably, yes IMO. Dealerships and mechanics shops have strong lobbies that have gotten laws passed in many states, very favorable to them and not the consumer. At this point, it seems like OP may be stuck with either the agreed upon insurance paid cost or getting an attorney involved.
This...
Yeah, I recognize. I thought someone said in a different thread that Porsche intentionally limited their OTA updates, but I'm too lazy to search for it
