BTW, I just got off the phone with my SA. Super nice guy, though he basically just gently assured me there is no way he can expedite the car's arrival from the port to the dealership. It's down to the wire now.
While the RS Spyder wheels are nice, I'm a huge fan of the Mission E wheels. Love the extra dose of spaceship-like presence they add to the Taycan's already head-turning look.
Initially no, as I didn't think there was a chance the car would arrive before January. But yes, now that it's so close, I'd really love if it sneaked in quickly and allowed us to take advantage of the credit.
I'm on pins and needles trying to guess if you and me get our cars before 2022. I sure hope so. But let that captain enjoy his Cabo fiesta, he's earned it!
Yes, check the "Jan Delivery" thread. There are at least two of us in there that have been tracking it. The ship is breaking all records (kidding... maybe?) and my SA was shocked this morning when I told him the car might be there before the end of the year. I've been in a flurry of calling...
Our Taycans are on the same boat! Spoke with my SA this morning and informed him that Asteria Leader was due into San Diego by 12/28, but he had no idea and didn't believe me at first. :CWL: With any luck, our cars will be at the dealers before 2022.
WOW!! Congrats, that's absolutely stunning and I bet looks even better in person. My car is exactly the same exterior/interior specs as yours and same wheels, but is the lowly 4S model. This makes me even more excited for the end of December. :like:
I have a 2017 Panamera 4S (daily driver) that I am exchanging for a Taycan due at the end of this month. It is very bittersweet, and I almost didn't make the switch. After I placed my order, I had buyer's remorse for a long while too, here's why.
-I have driven the Panamera from LA to Lake...
Generally, black is the best option for resale value as it tends to appeal to the most buyers. But these are hot cars (and will be for the next 1-2 years, most likely) so the spread probably won't be much to worry about. I think the black looks great -- that's also what I've ordered on my Taycan...
Like another user said, color is a highly personal choice. You will have lots of people telling you this or that color to choose. If you are someone who likes blue, the Neptune is a great option. Looks even better in the flesh.
For me personally, I am not a fan of blue cars. I prefer black and...
You are amazingly on top of it! Bravo!
At this rate the car getting to the dealership before 2022 is looking more and more likely. Awesome because I never assumed that was a possibility, though I may need to call the ol' accountant to see if there are any tax implications either way (besides...
Lol, I very much doubt you are cheap, especially considering the absurd amount Porsche charges for the Mission E wheels and the chalk interior! Between those two it is almost $10k which should be criminal.o_O
However, I have the chalk interior on my ‘17 panamera and it is amazing - looks...
Wow, that is great news! Especially considering you are in SB and the car is coming up from San Diego, right? Yes, the ship has been moving along at a nice clip ever since it left Emden, no dawdling anywhere LOL.
I'm in Porsche of Downtown LA so there seems a realistic chance the car will get...
Anyone else here on Asteria Leader? I think the thread starter mentioned it...
Ordered the car back in July, initial expectation date was Jan. 15. Porsche's TYD now shows Feb. 4 as expected arrival but the ship is already headed up the coast of Central America, I'm thinking early-mid Jan at...
