Looked at the my Porsche app this morning and my car had woken up so I can now see where it is. It’s at the dealership. Have they phoned or emailed me? I’ll let you guess
It's possible my car will be put on the Seine Highway which still has Emden as its destination but appears to be heading away from the port. Something weird is going on
Edit: Seine Highway heading back towards Emden, maybe it was just a bit of congestion
@daveo4EV thanks for your explanation of this, it’s not something I’d thought of before but now it seems obvious: the weak point in a car being slowed is not how much force the brakes can apply but how much grip the tyres have on the road
Now when I see Mat Watson on carwow or whoever doing a...
Went to the dealership today and my car is STILL at Emden. I finally got out of them that there has been a shipping block on my car which has now been lifted and they reckon it'll be available for collection early March. Like @IainSmith I put down my deposit on 14th April so it looks like I...
I’ve seen what the open campaigns are on my car and TPMS isn’t one of them. None of them are stop sales or anything that you’d expect to mean a shipping block so it’s a bit of a mystery. Am I just unlucky? Like you, I’ve had my car sitting at the dock since mid-December
Nordic Ace also heading to Grimsby from Emden, arrival scheduled for 15:20 tomorrow. Not sure if Nordic Ace is owned by a shipping company VW Group uses though
Oh, and it seems my car didn’t make it onto the Seine Highway but will be on “the next available vessel” according to my dealer. He couldn’t give me the name of the ship though so I’m still in believe it when I see it mode. I think the next ship to go from Emden to Sheerness will be the Danube...
I don’t think there’s any fixed pattern but it seems there’s at least one ship a week that goes to Grimsby from Emden. The Weser Highway that is in port at the moment often goes to Grimsby from Emden but there’s no destination port given yet. Keep an eye on that...
Maybe not leaving Emden but they it would make sense if they received notification once it has arrived in the UK. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't though and they have to check manually
Ems Highway went from Emden to Grimsby earlier this month so it is likely to be that one. Also it’s a KESS (K Line) ship judging from the picture which I think is the shipping company VW use to transport to the UK (although I’m not 100% sure of this)
Yeah, I saw a video (possibly posted by someone on here, i can't remember) that said the smaller battery was not 800V and operated at a lower voltage. I'm not sure this has ever been officially confirmed by Porsche though
As far as i can tell it's just Sheerness and Grimsby, at least that's what it says in the My Porsche delivery section:
"Here you can see the typical transport route that your vehicle will take as it leaves the factory in Zuffenhausen. Your vehicle will be transported to Emden in Germany...
Ah, right. The only other vehicles carrier I see at Emden at the moment is the Patara but that doesn't have a destination yet:

crossing my fingers for you!
Edit: Actually Ems Highway is due early tomorrow, that could be...
UK people waiting for their car, the Seine Highway is due to leave Emden today and arrive at Sheerness tomorrow:

Hopefully some of our cars are on that
@IainSmith I see you're in Leeds so I assume you ordered...
