I'm surprised to read that Ohme communicates with your car (via the cable or through Porsche's server?). From reading many threads in this forum it seems problems occur whenever the Porsche server cannot communicate with the car.
I have Octopus Intelligent go and a Myenergi Zappi EVSE. I have...
The car has no concept of your wall-box withholding power when connected. Assuming the state-of-charge is below the profile setting, the car wants to take power as soon as it's plugged in - if the wall-box doesn't supply power you get the error and I'm not sure what Ohme could do about that...
If the car's leased I'd check the lease agreement - clearly you're not getting what you're paying for, though there may be clauses saying you'll be offered something equivalent if yours is off-the-road.
If you bought outright I'm thinking you're stuck negotiating with the dealer and Porsche's...
I did exactly this on a 2016 Panamera: added a heated wheel to a car which didn't come from the factory with that option.
Hardware wise you need a wheel with heating built-in plus you need to change the clock spring (unit behind the wheel which provides the electrical wiring through to the...
I went through this (in UK) a couple of years ago with a Panamera. The dealer has to order a new key which is cut to your VIN (for the emergency lock) as well as the remote fob - total was £272.58 in May 2023. Once they have the parts they need to pair the fob to your car so it needs booking in...
My GTS has both RAS and PDCC (and PCCB!) so I'm probably not the best person to answer that. It's worth noting, though, that the GTS is tuned as a driver's car and has the same motors front and rear as the turbo. That said the 4S doesn't have that much less power but I suspect it's a softer car...
As you're looking to lease you don't care about resale value but I guess the big question is: how valuable is CAD600/month to you? For me GTS all the way but if you don't want the extra power (who doesn't ?) then the 4S seems an obvious choice.
You need to drive a GTS before you decide...
Question: does anyone who has problems with the rear camera washer have a rear screen wiper? I have rear wash/wipe on my ST and have never had trouble washing the camera: water comes straightaway.
I find it fascinating that in today's world we can buy something which may have different features and behaviour after we bought it, even without taking it back for an upgrade. Not long ago we could be confident that the toaster we bought wasn't suddenly able to do the laundry or order take-out...
My GTS was specced (not by me) with leather; I wouldn't have bought it with RaceTex which I don't like and don't think ages well. I've also swapped the wheel for full leather as I find there's not enough grip in the RaceTex wheel.
I think that's exactly the point, @f1eng - you're obviously the type of customer being talked about. Porsche have made a name for the driving dynamics and all the 'tech' involved there but the reference was for all the kit you don't care about: touch-screens, OTA, remote apps, etc. - the stuff...
