Thanks for the tip on Autosocks. As is typical in California, their rules are clear: You can use autosocks instead of chains, except when we decide that only chains can be used. LOL.

Yup. This is something I don't regret at all. I first thought of getting "'practical" 4S, but then due to all the delays in getting a lock date (I ordered a year ago), and lots of interneting, I wound up with a car that is loaded with features. I don't regret adding any of them.
