I tend not too use a pressure washer to wash the car. I sometimes (like @W1NGE ), use one to apply snow foam but usually:
* Apply wheel treatment/rinse
* Wash off/rinse off
* Rinse the whole car down with hose
* Carefully wash with car shampoo/conditioner
* Wash down with hose
Then either I...
I think the other thing is that it appears to me that MY22 has been a lot more stable than 21 and 20, with a lot of bugs and other features worked out, as well as some welcome additions. Heater issues aside of course (mine hasn't suffered this so far).
Absolutely not, but the abandonment of 'experts' in the political discourse in recent years has meant that it's even worse now, combined with so many people being 'Facebook experts'. Embarrassing tbh
I don't get hate for EV's over here, but there is a huge lack of knowledge and a lot of disinformation about them in the UK. Right wing newspapers/media run a load of awful stories with badly researched or totally false claims and it really does influence people.
For me it’s about being able to take a car to a holiday destination, such as Cornwall with maybe a stop of the way if needed, but then drive around for the week and again stop on the way back if/when needed. A lot of the UK, especially Cornwall/West Country, is missing infrastructure and you...
You push the stalk forwards and it gives you an icon like this on the dash, with an 'A' in the lights. Varies by light/dark: i.e. it will be blue when it's really dark and main beams are used and green when normal headlights are used
EV's are only part of the answer to the environmental damage we're doing and certainly not the 'single shot' that they're sold as. Ultimately getting away from all oil use, including plastics, re-wilding everywhere, moving to 100% sustainable energy, reducing human populations and many other...
The F1 asym has performed well on mine since I got my summers installed. I also would have preferred to get PZero's or PS4S, but I've been pretty pleased with them. Excellent wet performance, decent rolling performance and very good dry grip too
Mines a little dull, albeit I did buy a cool spare that I was gonna use (below), but thought it would scratch the paint on the shell and maybe be a bit uncomfortable.
We currently use the XC90 T8 for longer trips. Especially for Cornwall/Devon. As you say: infrastructure sucks apart from some car parks etc with 7kW's
Yeah agreed. But I’d use it say if I was at my relatives house for a day and wanted to trickle a bit in. Also my local train station has free trickle charging with a 3PIN so if I’m in London for the day free charging is pretty nice.
I take the type 2 cable everywhere and use it regularly (it helps my local shopping centre has *very limited space * free charging ). I actually would like a UK 3 PIN/domestic plug cable/EVSE to use but the Porsche one is ridiculously large. Anyone in the UK recommend a reliable, light and...
