I’ve had:
* Full detailing and full ceramic coating a few years back- £500
* PPF on the front end (and a few other bits), and ceramic coating inside and out - ~£1,500
A nice guy. Very busy (a good sign), but does a spot on job...
The main question you need to answer is: why do you want to switch? 4 properly usable seats and a decent boot? A calmer and more luxurious journey quality? The Taycan is Perfect. However, a 911 is a great Sports car and is visceral and noisy and maybe more fun, albeit this isn’t to say the...
Turbo ST on 21’s. Depending on trip and right foot, I’m getting 2.5-2.8. When it rises above 15°C I think I’ll hit 3 on longer journeys. The wheels are definitely a factor as I saw 2.9 in February in fairly low temps
Ironic that I'm adding to this thread now, as it's beautiful outside, but my beef is that the rear hatch (ST), lets water into the actual boot when you open it and the boot hatch is wet. Only on one side on my car. Very irritating. Luckily I have a boot liner, but still, something surely easily...
Old thread I know, but I got this after an enthusiastic jaunt off of some lights on a nice quiet dual carriageway today. A bit alarming as it was dry and sunny!
Exactly this. I was on some semi-rural roundabouts today with some lads in their hot hatch on my arse trying to follow and without even trying, certainly not using acceleration I whipped around 2 roundabouts with absolute precision (within my limited ability), and they just blundered through...
my range mode pops up with “60 Mph limit” on it. I am guessing this is changed in the menu’s? I could spend half a day looking, or does someone here know the answer?
I agree with those on de-badging. I bought a car to enjoy it myself, not impress people. I de-badged mine and I'd definitely do it again. I prefer that someone who doesn't 'know', stays ignorant. It's also more fun that way with the look on faces - if you can still see them in the rear-view ;)
I don’t bother with pre-conditioning so much as it requires plugging in before every trip and I only charge 1-2 a week. But in winter for early trips the cabin warming is a great option. With my turbo I’ve found it got rapidly more efficient once regen braking kicked in. Also requires a lot of...
Always worth holding the charging handle fairly firmly in the port until you hear the click as well, they’re a bit fussy and often if you let go they don’t engage well. That’s what I’ve found.
Congrats on the car. Seatbelt sounds like a back to dealer thing
Yeah I should have added that, exactly. Range mode is even lower and is far too uncomfortable for a nice highway cruise. SportPlus I get as if you’re in that then you are focusing and doing some fast driving.
