Good find and an easy fix. I saw someone fit a screen to prevent this, but I don’t think that’s a good idea. Screens are very disruptive to airflow and can be bad for cooling. On 911’s its fairly common to put screens in the grills to protect the radiators, and there are a few engine builders...
I don’t! Made a few edits to clarify a few points….I’m definitely not a software engineer, but I can see the argument for both small bug fixes and for big OS updates. Trying to understand this in the context of “stop sales” and supply chain inconsistencies is what’s interesting.
Another excellent point, what’s unique and different about this newish era of software fixes being able to fix an outstanding issue is the stop sales that a few members have reported.
It’s good practice to follow a software release schedule that favors less frequent but more comprehensive (and...
As most have correctly indicated, The system has to be put in “Learn” mode to sync with new TPMS sensors. By using the PCM to select the new size, that activates “Learn” mode. Then you have to drive for a bit so the car can figure out which wheel is where (LF/RF/LR/RR).

What’s curious about all of this is the delay in delivering the remedy. How can the repair or remedy be “unavailable” if cars produced in April do not have this issue? If they April and later cars are good to go, doesn’t that suggest that the “remedy” is available?
Only thing I can think of...
I could not get Apple Music to work (or Spotify, podcasts, etc), ALL other functions of the PCM were working normally. I called Porsche, and they had to reset the Apple music with the "Development Team," it took about a week and now all of the PCM music services are working normally.
I’d recommend just pushing the park assist button shown in post #4. The programmable diamond button(s) are too precious to use for a function that already has a button dedicated to it in the center console.
When mine was delivered the front washer wouldn’t spray. I could hear the pump running, but no water. I took a look at the drivers side hood hinge where the water tube makes its bend to the hood and found the hose kinked. I unlinked it and all was good. All the while the rear worked normally...
