I make sure to gesture to every Taycan I see in the wild. A couple weeks ago, one was driving in the opposite direction and he flashed his lights at me while I gave him the peace sign. A magical moment. :)
Also, did you train your Homelink with a fresh battery on your remote? If you use an old battery, the trained frequency can be slightly off, which leads to the signal being more prone to interference, as I understand it.
I may try to drive up from SoCal for this, but as I already have trips the prior and following weekends, it would make for a very busy September. Would love to make it though.

Just got back from the dealer after completing my recall update. Took almost exactly 1.5 hours, no issues thus far. Everything is exactly the same including all of my personal settings, favorites, etc.
If you are in the standard display mode for the instrument cluster (3 circles) a green HOLD icon appears right above the speedometer number when the car is in the hold position.
Thanks for confirming. I'm also hoping in the future that the Taycan and other EVs can adjust how much current they pull, like Teslas can. Then there's no danger of trying to pull more than the charger can allow.
