Maybe RHD cars have misconfigured batteries? Seriously seems weird the dichotomy of experiences. I get comfortably over 227 (EPA estimate) in winter, driving “vigorously” in sport mode with no regard for economy.
Note I probably have the most efficient setup (19” with all seasons - despite the...
iPhone 12 works fine with some chargers but not others. Doesn’t seem like they followed the Qi spec very well. Google iPhone 12 wireless charging problems and you will see.
Also which cars and what power output do they have? Taycan actually has a relatively powerful charger. So you can’t hold...
Agreed, Apple sucks. This is clearly not Porsche’s fault (except PCM rebooting, although I’ve never experienced that when my iPhone was overheating). Maybe they could’ve put the holder near a vent but who’s to say it wouldn’t be blowing hot air?
I heard Porsche is starting to offer Android...
The one thing that feels materially worse in a Taycan is braking hard into a corner. Although I have all seasons and it’s only summers on 911. Does anyone know if that’s significantly improved with summers on a Taycan? Probably not since the Taycan weighs what it weighs but not sure.
These threads keep popping up but I can't help repeating myself... don't forget that RAS allows Porsche to make the steering 10% more direct. Turn the wheel a little, car turns a lot, yet is not twitchy on the highway (due to rear wheels moving in same direction).
Unless you're going for the "fuel" efficiency that's way too high. Ride will be harsher, tires will wear at center, traction will suffer, tires more likely to bubble. Part load for that spec is 36/32, full load is 39/38. I run 37/34, after experimenting with higher which was too harsh for me.
I don't know about XPEL in particular but I see this on cars with PPF all the time. Many seem to be fine with it but it would annoy the hell out of me (which is why I don't get it even though I like how it'd make car washing easier). What's the point of wrapping something to keep it looking...
I thought someone (@ron_b) would've posted this already but since not....
I offered to lend him my 4S for a real drag race (unlike that other clickbait video) but he declined.
"Local hifi" means USB stick or through CarPlay? I'm not aware that CarPlay supports greater than CD quality audio. Also some people have glitches through CarPlay (you'll see lots of complaints if you google it). If you really want to isolate it make sure you're trying with files on a USB...
