I lmao so hard when I saw this. Like, is he for real? Telling people having battery issues every 2 years is great because you end up with an almost new battery by the 8th year?
The ride height and chassis settings remain unchanged for me. The only thing that resets is the drive mode, which defaults to Normal, and recuperation, which defaults to off. Since I usually just drive in Normal anyway, the only thing I have to change when I get in the car is the recuperation...
WD-40 will work wonders on the glue residue. I debadged the model definition in the rear in my car 3 months ago, it was super easy. The hard part was putting the badge back on last month... yeah, my wife is convinced I’m crazy.
I’ll start.
Drive mode: Normal - just because I don’t want to hear the transmission doing its shenanigans
Chassis: Sport - goldilocks for me. Never normal, just too soft. Sometimes Sport+ when I feel like I want to feel her bounce.
Ride height: Lowered - less wheel gap than Normal, and more...
I’m not sure what your point here is. You ask a forum, and everyone will have different opinions on what they value. Value is very subjective. A stock can trade for $20, some may think it’s undervalued, some the opposite.
You are the one that needs to put things on a scale and decide yourself...
Alright it’s indeed a CPO, going for 69k. This is a good snag. The only thing this build is missing IMO that I would kick myself for not having is the noise insulated glass. Otherwise it looks super clean.
My PCM has been flawless since it had a software update last month during service. I haven’t checked the version, but one thing that gave away the fact that the software was updated was the animation when switching selection of the left vs center vs right dial in the instrument cluster. Before...
Got it. I know this is somewhat subjective, but I like the regen as is from factory. I feel like more regen would be too nauseating maybe. I also hate driving with it off, makes the driving too unpredictable thus the first thing I do when I get in the car is press the steering wheel button. This...
When we talk about more regen here, are we specifically talking about what happens to the car when you let go of the acc pedal? I always use recuperation on, not auto or off, and I think it feels very natural to engine braking. Or are we talking about regen under braking?
My car is a 2022 4S, PB+ and Perf Package.
I too hear a slight drone in the same situation you described, though in my case it is not as bothersome.
The main thing that bothers me from what I have described is the situation when I’m already in second gear, then coming to a stop (say a red...
Yes. I’m well aware of how the transmission is supposed to behave between drive modes. I guess my main gripe is that in my view, it’s a poor implementation. But from your post, seems like you don’t even feel yours shifting so I wonder if I’m one of only a few with this issue.
I find myself enjoying Normal drive mode more over Sport or Sport+, regardless of any setting related to ride height or chassis setting. I can easily set chassis and height the same in any mode I select, the only reason I tend to enjoy Normal more is the (IMO) poorly implemented (or rather...
To me it’s comical the amount of flak Trump gets outside of the US, especially so in Europe, from what I’ve seen.
And yes there are many things I disagree with, but so much gets blown out of proportion.
