I also live in Aberdeen. So a decent comparison to you.
the car will be learning your driving style. And you might be heavy on the acceleration.
But mostly because regen isn’t active until approx 500 miles is why perhaps you see poor range. look for green on the centre cluster power meter...
I learned alot about charging on this video, despite owning a Taycan for nearly a year....
- Turtle mode
- Shared power on Ionity
- Cooling strategies (Sport Plus)
- Levels of charge required for next stop on the battery indicator
- Was also quite surprised as to how hot a taycan battery can...
100% no heater = no battery precondition = slow charging on ultra fast chargers. I got my battery up to 21 centigrade after about 25 mins on a 350kw charger that maxed out at 50. Doh!
Where are you traveling to?
Glasgow Ionity fast charging is good and 8 bays from memory.
Perth OPC is expensive (and always available)
Perth Ionity is good too. 4 chargers.
Dundee fast chargers (Tesla 150 kW and John Clark (not advertised yet but ARE available to customers using debit cards)...
Sorry to hear that.
It’s a 5 hour fix. However I learned that Porsche won’t send a replacement until they get the old one.
Still, was fixed with 3 days in OPC Aberdeen.
Thanks W1NGE. “It’s a completely different tech”
Does that include the sensor? I hope not. And that the OPC can recalibrate it.
Doesn’t seem like any non matrix PDLS+ have chimed in; similar to the (but helpfully added) thread from MrBlueSky.
I don’t have the matrix. Which I think is the common thread. I wonder if the matrix has a better sensor.
I hoping to hear from a PDLS+ non matrix driver whom has a good result.
Hi all….
with those of you withbase lights or PDLS+, how sensitive is the dipping function? My experience yesterday on an unlit UK dual carriageway was woeful. Frankly dangerous. The car does not react to oncoming cars to dip the beam. But it seems to see cars I’m following quite well.
I’ve...
As the cooler days draw in; I had reason to put the heater on. After a while; I noticed only very little heat coming out of the fans.
No matter…. My OPC ordered a new HVAC and I can have it fitted whenever I want.
And at 10 degrees ambient; there’s enough heat in the car to be comfortable...
PM Truss has pledged to change the electricity market. To move it from the marginal cost of gas powered electricity (ignoring the lower cost wind and nuclear) to contracts for difference. I don’t understand how that will work; but sounds like the shake up we need.
Well from October 1st; Porsche OPC charging looks cheap.
IONITY a bargain.
and free ChargeScotland; unreal.
still. At 52p per kW; I think it’s 2/3 of the price of a comparable big diesel. And much nicer to drive.
