Yup. Crazy expensive. That said, I consider them as likely always available due to cost. I often pass Perth for example. I’ll always go to IONITY with a 2 mile longer journey. That said, if IONITY is full, I can always splash and dash with Porsche.
Enjoyed it. Excepting the quoted charging info.
CTEK should charge at 7kw not 3.5.
And IONITY has charged as fast as 250kwh in my experience.
I didn’t know recuperation had an auto mode. ?
Just to chime in to confirm my experience as being similar to some above....
Porsche Perth charging slow with a 20 degree battery that was 50% capacity.
- crazy to charge there paying a per minute fee with a cold 50% battery...
Ionity Perth - 13% to 60% in 13 minutes.
- Sat nav set for the...
FYI; I picked up my C4S yesterday (25 March) and it had the newer PCM.
-cars Delivered 2 days earlier did not have the new PCM according to the Porsche Pro at handover.
hi - yes. The £5k get refunded from the OPC direct to you. Which I will roll
Into a another order to hedge against leaving my employer and loosing my car.
As for preferred OPCs; my leasing company (Octopus) didn’t care. They cared a bit more for Merc; but tookthe car from a local dealer too.
I ordered with an OPC. A zero option car, that I specced before lock. And then turned it over to the lease company just prior to delivery. Perhaps do that?
Also an Andersen A2….
though I’m thinking I should have installed a bi-directional charger to use. Future EV that allows me to use the battery on my home.
With regard to salary sacrifice….
You save income tax. And national insurance savings if your employer shares that with you.
Becuase the monthly lease payments are paid (sacrificed) from gross income.
