Thanks. Appreciate it. Think I might lower and use spacers with my current 21s for now…until I find a wheel I like. New to me car, so either I keep these wheels as summers and buy new for winter…or vice versa(tho 21s in winter isn’t ideal)
not sure if I’m able to track down build sheet. I kept referring to the CPO website, and never bothered asking S.A. to email me anything.
yes childhood dream come true of getting a Porsche. Was going to get a 911 when the Tesla came out, and went that direction. Don’t regret it. At the time it...
The Hulk has finally arrived :)
finally officially escaped the Tesla cult. Thanks for all the info on this forum guys and gals. With your help, here is my new to me ‘23 4S. Just got it back from wrapping….did the entire car in xpel. Eventually will get spacers and lowering links.
mamba on...
Had similar issues with my Tesla and it was annoying.
In a similar vein, how do you set up the vehicle to precondition the battery via “shore power”….so on a cold winter day, battery is at optimal temp before unplugging and leaving to avoid range loss?
If you asked someone that isn’t very familiar with the Taycan, I’m sure they’d just as easily believe the bottom pic is the refresh. Both are fine (obviously gen 1 is waaaay better)
So on the train heading for my delivery now when I receive an email from Porsche. Oooh so exciting…perhaps a welcome to the club email?
ah. Recall notice for the charge cable. Looks like I’m officially part of the club…what a nice feeling :CWL:
any issue with lowering? I asked my dealer if they’d be willing to swap the CT links for those on the sedan/GTS to get the same 10mm drop. They went as far as speaking with parts and quoting. But parts/service advised not to because of the level sensors causing possible faults etc.
I know...
I’m picking up a new to me ‘23 CT 4S on Feb 8 (great timing huh). Fully loaded…even the VLC roof…and CPO warranty until end of ‘29. It’s working out significantly cheaper than a new CT 4S. I keep it…..right? Either it’s that, or a base base base CT refresh. I knew I’d be facing this...
Well not doubts….i knew turning here would provide me with a better answer. But he kept insisting these “adapters” wouldn’t provide the same charge rate. He was actually clueless as to what the Tesla was, insisting it must be plugged into a nema outlet, and I just need to take it off and plug in...
Yes. Perfect. I was all set to get it, when a convo with my S.A. put doubts in my head. I know I know….i have more experience with EVs than several S.A.s put together….but I always like to be safe than sorry. Thanks
is this the route you ultimately went? Using the sedan link/sensors? My CT is waiting on delivery and I have mentioned wanting to swap the links. Would this alone achieve the 10mm drop, or would it lead other issues (I have no clue what a bump stop is??)
So is the Tesla universal charger better than the cable I’m getting with my car? I won’t have the 19.2 option. Currently I have a Tesla gen 3 wired to a 100amp breaker, but I need to replace it due to some corrosion on the cable end. I was thinking to get the universal wall connector, but my...
