I get there’s no guarantee. But seeing such a drastic reduction in price makes me wary. Also, I saw a cpo 2020 turbo with about 5,000km and 5 (1,2,3,4,5!) previous owners. That raised a red flag and made me question the whole cpo thing. Yeah it’s a one off, but still really weird
even better when the latest greatest M/RS/AMG etc with gobs of power hits the used market letting kids easily pick them up. Streets and highways are getting scarier
I remember when I first got my Tesla in 2014, my insurance was dirt cheap because they weren’t sure what it was :CWL: too bad those days are long gone for EVs:facepalm:
Ha! I love (sigh) that the GTA is the capital of car thefts. I haven’t heard the Taycan falling under the banner of “sought after” vehicles being targeted, like Ranges etc. but unfortunately that doesn’t make it 100% safe. My buddy paid a lotta $$$ to equip his Raptor with a 3rd party pin to...
what’s the main reason, you think? Up here I’m seeing a lot, with pricing sort of all over the map. Especially lots of vehicles out of Quebec. Is it just leases coming up? Bad batch of early MY vehicles?
Taycan Vs Model S is a similar argument I used to have in the Model S vs Hellcat days…..sure it’s quicker, but it’s also cheaper (price and quality) and uglier.
but (and yes, Tesla owner looking to get Taycan….I will be upfront)….a little more quickness couldn’t hurt. I mean the Kia EV6 is...
Ceramic first then ppf? Or vice versa?
I did paint correction, ceramic, and then full xpel on my tesla 10yrs ago and it still looks brand new (much to ppls surprise), but maybe it’s better the other way around?
Sledgehammer vs a scalpel. Both can be enjoyed in different ways :giggle: both have their benefits/enjoyments. We know which one is more refined….but to each their own. The price cuts will tempt some. Neck-breaking speed is thrilling. So is carving up curves. Tho I can count on my fingers how...
Yup. Just comes down to owners being lazy/uninformed.
I do wish my charging map (and others like your PCM) would give a list of things around the charger. On my trip I was directed to a charger for an hour charge….there was nothing around, but I knew 1km up there was another supercharger with...
That’s great (and realistic!). Like I said, if you go on Teslas supercharger route planner, and select a brand new S as your vehicle, my 1000km trip requires 4 stops….meaning the “640km” ranged S will only do around 250km before needing to stop.
we can’t tell the car what SOC to go to….it just...
I agree 100%
I’ve decided the best route for me is scoping out the used Taycan market rather than even considering a new Plaid.
but oh man, I need to sit down with a pen and pad and jot down all the options I need/want. It’s quite a bit….I saw the perfect car, only to realize after a few...
Hi
what distance were you able to cover per charge. I just did 1000km one way in my old tesla with “330km range”….I had to do 5 stops. Using Teslas route planner for a new “640km long range S”, it suggests 4 stops for the same trip. Obviously their numbers stink when their own software...
It’s also tough because what else is there? Merc and BMW have basically decided looks don’t matter. Polestar is still a one horse show….interested to see what the 5 actually is in production form. The Koreans are nice…but going down market has its share of drawbacks. I’ve been agonizing for the...
