911 for sure. here in the uk at least. I don't know what the other guys in this thread are on about but Taycans are prettttty common these days. went for a drive the other day and literally saw 4 Taycans drive past me on a 20 mile stretch, not even a posh area.
when i had my 911, it turned...
ah ok then in that case, i''m pretty sure the hypervolt charger is able to report/limit kw used. but its still not ideal way of knowing the SoC given that its not a 1:1 ratio of power in:SoC%.
c) apparently not :-( and if so, mine didn't (i didn't buy new).
i guess if fancy schmancy super...
lol thanks. but
a) porsche app needs connect sub to see the SoC etc. only thing you can do without it is to turn on the preconditioning
b) not sure how an interface between the plug and charger will determine the SoC of the car?
c) my car didn't come with a porsche charger :-( but will be...
so do any home chargers actually have the ability to determine the SoC of the taycan/car outside of using Connect? I don't subscribe anymore as it generally isn't worth 300quid a year to me, but obviously it would be handy to see the SoC from within the hypervolt/octopus app.
thread necromancy - can you see the taycans SoC from the app/api? or does it fully rely on your car having the charging profile set up? would quite like to be able to see the SoC from within the house without having to go to the car to see (I don't subscribe to connect)
no, no trial, no discount. it's Porsche we are talking about here ;). I was told originally by both OPC and Porsche customer support that you can buy and then get a refund if within a month. but when i checked the docs I can see there is just a 14 day "cool off" where you can write to them...
yeah, i've driven my daughters fiat 500 which has a "city mode" and it feels pretty gross. but last time i had it was on an S5 and it was nice to drive.
cool, ok i might just bite the bullet and order it then.
nah it doesn't seem to be. steering is pretty heavy all of the time, and more importantly, its showing in porsche connect store as an option for me to enable/buy. it only lists the stuff thats relevant to your car.
i totally agree though, my 2013 Cupra had it as standard and that cost a heck...
well the point in individual mode is that you can change your settings to how you prefer, i'm pretty sure it has very little to do with "doing better" than what the defaults are. (they are "defaults, after all)
given the back-end differences which porsche implement based on the different...
what do you mean by propulsion mode? rear wheel drive only (or front?) rather than all 4? so if I'm a my22 (late 2021) will that mean that my car doesn't go into 2 wheel only in range mode?
cool thanks guys. yeah I get that the options which are able to be changed are ...changed from mode to mode ride height and suspension stiffness etc. but knowing it changes the mapping and other bits might make it so that I'd be more inclined to base my "individual" off of normal rather than...
Hiya,
Just wondering, outside of Range mode where it apparently only uses rear wheel motors (?) is there any actual difference between normal/sport/sport+ or are they all just predefined chassis/suspension/sport-sound etc which you can edit in the menus anyway?
Also , what is the point in...
I'm umming and arring over getting this feature on my turbo.
Does it make any difference between different modes? I use individual most of the time which is mapped to "sport" , I'm assuming that (from what I've read) its not like other cars where in the mode switch settings you can define...
Yeah, i need to get hold of a different obd2 adapter as the one i have doesn't seem to connect to the car when using carscanner.
OPC said that there is a way to get a better / more accurate SoH calculation but it involves running to 1% charge and keeping the car there for a couple of days in...
So is unlimitedtuning just OEM'ing the redshift hardware? It's noticeably more expensive.
Anyone know of someone in the UK who can supply these? where is best to deal with for delivering to the UK?
Also, if you order the one with the extra ECU, do you need to send in the old ECU first still...
