I think it’s unlikely jld1’s on vessel date will hold, but if it does, it would be confirmation that batteries are being put in new builds after X date while previously built vehicles are still waiting.

Anybody else have TYD update today? I no longer show the (obviously placeholder) mid October on vessel date that many of us had. It’s now showing a more plausible November 4th. I’ve been ready for transport since Aug 30, so I’m hoping I finally get a battery this month.

The latter. I got a notification from the app that my vehicle had been produced between 1-2 weeks after TYD had said It had passed CP 8.0. There was no notification when it actually entered production.

Took close to two weeks for me too. (From TYD saying produced vs the main landing page agreeing)

While it is frustrating, I don’t think Porsche can really say with confidence when this 12v battery situation will be over, so it’s not like there’s anything to communicate. I guess they could send us all an email every morning that says “yup, still waiting on batteries…”

The normal glass is already going to block heat effectively. I don’t think the VLC does anything but block visible light, so you can choose how dark/bright your cabin is, but it won’t impact how hot it gets. Kind of a gimmick imo, and apparently slightly less clear than the normal glass even...

I got production pictures after the main landing page (not TYD) went to stage 3, your vehicle has been produced. That happened a couple days after TYD had already shown cp 8. I wouldn’t worry about checking until you’re a couple weeks past production start.

There’s another thread with folks saying it’s been removed from the configurator in some territories. I still see it in the US. Could be temporary, could be permanent. Nobody knows. I don’t think your dealer is trying to screw you, and if It were me I’d probably just go with Bose.

Delays on parts, particularly the amp I believe. fwiw, I still see it as an option in the US for now.

Yup, same story here - after briefly showing step 7, we’re back to 6 while waiting for a battery. On the plus side I was able to pull pics of my car on the line yesterday! Photo metadata suggests they were shot Aug 22nd.

My GTS began production July 27th, and its a 2023. It was originally scheduled to be built in August though.

Yup, my date was 9/2 for a while, then went to 8/26 for a few weeks, and then suddenly moved forward. My "scheduled for production" also jumped forward when its time came, although not by an entire month.
