Do you perhaps have the instruction on paper on how to exactly remove the door panel?
On another note I got a rattle near the rear light/trunk space as well (cross turismo), i think this has sth to do with the rearlight casing not being firmly attached or so....also annoying, but another...
Very good! This may the easiest solution...well done. Can you indicate roughly where you did the inserts...("from the end").....which side/location exactly...ai may try this first....or take the whole door panel off regardless.
Possible to do so and less stress on the front, but regardless the rattling should bot happen and irritates me when it does. But in the interim this may help a bit. Thanks.
Will likely follow u shortly thereafter...thinking of taking the whole side panels off...seems easy...perhaps then from the back of the whole panel to address the rattle issue.
I drive a cross, hopefully not too much different from the sedan in the video.
Did this help? Which material did u insert exactly? Can you describe what you did to attempt removing the carbon inlay...i wamt to do the same...the rattle is such a pity...same here, both sides!
Hopefully can do something about it
Is it difficult to remove the trim (I have the carbon strips). They rattle badly on some songs. Need to take them off and do something about the vibration.
Fully agreed.
Any chance to improve the tune after say 160kmu....thereafter it is dramatic....up to about 160kmu it is quite impressive but then the party trick ends suddenly :(
Or it this just limited by the hardware.
In sum for the Turbo S CT (MY22). @prj ran @ 85% SOC, and my run @ between 80-85% SOC. We drive exactly the same car type. Also fully loaded here, except entertainmaint in the back that PRJ has. I drove it on 22 inch Vossen.
I guess the most interesting is to compare no launch no tune (as most...
Is this about right for a TS CT....611Nm in Launch mode...
511Nm in normal mode.
Both @ 73% SOC.
Or does it show just one invertor?
Thanks.
Will charge to 100% and see what are the changes .
@prj
On your website I read the following, see below highlighted with the red circle.
Could you help me in understanding what happens to the suspension, as not always I want the stiffening of the suspension. Or do you mean the full torque is only available in the sport/sport plus setting of...
Thank you. I also have the offroad package as mentioned by prj.
I still have a set sitting in the garage. 20 inch Turbo S set with Michelin 4 tires, 21 inch cross turismo wheels (currently used as winter set) and currently driving 22 inch summer. I like the looks of the Vossen, but for comfort...
I drive currently Hankooks Evo3
305 25 R22 behind and 265 30 R22 in front.
Before Sport Contact 6 on 22 inch in the same size. Perhaps strange to some but I like the Hankooks better!
Understand that, it is very clear. And I also will go for a tune, just waiting it out a little bit that's all. The tuning has its limits, simple as that, and either accept or don't do it. You are open and clear about it, very much appreciated.
Don't get me wrong....the Taycan TS is a fast car, I am just missing that extra thrill. Perhaps it sounds weird, but the power / torque is something you get used to quickly.
Hence, I hope a tune would give that extra thrill.
Agreed. No comparison in any way, just to share that I do like power/torque, but the driving experience overall is just better in the Taycan. The Taycan did better on the ring than the RS5 as well, 2 very different cars. Just miss the power between say 80-200kmu.
Same here. Full options CT TS. But...i find it slow 100 to 200...even after tuning I am afraid. But that is because I came from a heavily tuned RS5 with hybrid turbo's...700hp on 1730kg something like that....so maybe I need a different car.
Having said that on the short runs the Taycan TS is...
Thank you much appreciated. I guess for the turbo s the benefit is really in having LC power "all the time" rather than having to use it like i did in my run.
