I never heard of usual wear on the P-brake and would assume it lasts as long as the PCCB.
If you park a lot on steep terrain, that would possibly wear the material faster. If J1.2 only has one side P-brake, that could cause faster wear, too.
It is theoretically possible on private ground to...
That's one thing I like about the Porsche experience.
Yes, it costs money, but the level of individualization possibilities is just endless, so one can create it's own personal set-up almost perfectly.
I just had the job done.
My Taycan wouldn't move an inch anymore and had to be towed in.
I was charging 11 kW and it stopped in the middle.
Charger was dead, Taycan showed red circle.
I could engage the car but it would not go into gear.
In Germany, they can fix the issue within days. Just be...
I started with electric cars when I still had an aircooled 993 Carrera S.
Man, you should have heard all the studied doctors and engineers...
Funny enough, I will have my first reunion since 2016 with that club next month on a Porsche tour in the Erzgebirge Mountains.
Of course I wouldn't be...
I think Dragy is more precise, as it uses GPS.
It's quite expensive also, for just recording acceleration. Not worth the price to me.
With Carscanner, you can also use the phone app to measure acceleration, but in Carplay it's a lot more comfy.
If you have the VIN of the Car, send a pm to @ct14garage.
He will provide an internal report of all maintenance and updates done on the vehicle, for free.
2 years ago, I also had 2 flat tires with the Taycan in the time of 2 months...after the 20 years before only one flat tire ever.
Since 2 years luckily nothing.
I put it in the category "bad luck".
I had the GTS in Sport Plus, the Turbo in Normal and Sport, missed out on the Sport Plus. Didn't have the time to go deeper i to the settings. Does PAR have an extended menu, apart from on/off?
My own experience with PAR:
Last week I was on a Taycan track-experience day in Leipzig, taking different Taycans around their race-track.
GTS, 4S and Turbo were the iterations.
First I had the GTS. Here it proved, that the GTS setup is indeed the best for ambitious driving.
It gave good...
Luckily, nobody here is trolling or taking their opinion too seriously.
That would possibly destroy the conversation.
I'd still spend 235 k on a nice GTS as daily.
But wait...my daily is a Taycan I am still very happy with (I know, very controverse).
And than there is my "base" 911T for the...
I would justify the price with getting YOUR dream car in a dream spec.
And if it's not your dream car, then get sth else (yes, most possibly cheaper).
My spec sheet on a perfect GTS Targa has a price tag of 235 K Euro.
If I would drive my 911 as daily, I would spend that money and enjoy it...
