To 'extended warranty' or not to 'extended warranty' - that is the question!

One warranty-thought every day keeps a lot of trouble away. No Taycan without warranty, even if you have your own shop. It's mandatory.

    Replacement Night Vision Camera

Had mine replaced by Porsche. It's a bigger DIY, but doable. Problems could arise with coding and calibration being necessary. You need PIWIS and calibration tools.

"Sixth Porsche Charging Lounge opens in Leonberg near Stuttgart" - Porsche News

I use Porsche Charging Lounges everytime I travel, Hamburg, Würzburg, Evestorf and Ingolstadt so far. Very pleasant experience, apart from the coffee machines, that often don't work. Nice restrooms, quick and cheap charging, nice ambiente. Always little give-aways there like fe chocolate or...

Spacers, any issues with Porsche re warranty?

I would be interested in some valid information on the amount, spacers indeed stress the chassis more than stock. 12-15 mm all around would suit the optics a lot.

    Battery life & range

Well @chun, I know your Taycan bottle is almost empty, to me it's well filled and at least half full instead of half empty. So I hold against your speculation with my own: by 2027/ 2028 Porsche will have a solution, not letting J1.1 standing in the rain without an umbrella. If we are both here...

"Onboard network error" - red - Taycan won't move - battery modules replaced

Yes, "hoping" that too. But ondeed please after stock of J1.1 modules is gone.

"Onboard network error" - red - Taycan won't move - battery modules replaced

A typical "red circle of death" encounter. In EU, those cases seem to be handled well and a lot quicker, than in the U.S.

    Battery life & range

Coming from 10 y/ all Tesla models, I can relate to this statement. Although PCM is a piece of 💩 compared to Tesla UI, anything else on my Taycan is superior. I didn't miss Tesla for a second. My wifes BMW iX20 though is another story. She wants to go back to a Model Y 🫠

I joined the Red Circle of Death club

This does not apply because random Lithium cells don't have a bms, battery management system.

    Battery life & range

I share the same experience. My 22 TS CT has 75 kkm now and state of health is at a whopping 93,6 %.

Your battery will work fine. It's just a fact, that overall SoH will not improve with new modules, as the lowest SoH modules will set the overall SoH. With an all new battery SoH will be "as new".

Initial HV battery scan of a newly purchased 2020 Taycan 4S (possible module replacements) – looking for expert review

Wasn't it @ct14garage who is able to provide the full service history from the Porsche database by VIN via PM? There you could see the module replacement.

Has anyone color-matched the headlight surrounds and intakes?

Your example, as Cross-Turismo with offroad-design package seems to have an additional body-kit phantasized onto it. The side skirts look brutal.

    2027 M3 EV Quad-Motor -- first (leaked) images

M3 Touring is a true bespoke car now, they will definitely repeat that.

    2027 M3 EV Quad-Motor -- first (leaked) images

Powertrain and chassis facts sound quite promising. If the design stays like that, it will be a true bummer, rather than a Bimmer.

    Οn board charger failure

My 22 kW Charger went south a month ago. When the car was towed in, it took Porsche exactly 3 working days to get it back on the street. They offered compensation for the downsize on 11 kW instead of 22 kW, without me even asking (I would have 😏). So, I can't imagine, it's a Porsche supply...

How much MORE does the current model year of your Taycan cost? That's SAVINGS! ;)

I bought my 2022 Turbo S CT, fully specced 20 months old for 107K Euro. MSRP was 244K Euro. To me a super bargain, and I still feel that way about this excellent car. This would be my window-sticker today: https://porsche-code.com/PTBDVXE3 Shy on 260K Euro is "less" than I thought it would be.

Following the battery cells changed: Do you still trust your Taycan J1.1

Hello, all your questions and anxieties are well documented in this forum. So well, you'd have a few evenings of reading stuff. In short: only "modules" will be exchanged. If too many are corrupt, you will get a new battery. You can start reading posts/ threads from @ct14garage It will take you...

Heartbroken Taycan owner looking for advice on what's next

Gefeliciteerd! I have a 992.2 T also, BUT....I would be too lazy to drive it as daily-driver. I enjoy every second with my 992 in the weekends/ holidays. Yet, downtown rush-hour is a whole different beast. I appreciate every second in my Taycan than.
