To think PCNA or your dealer owe you something because of delays they cannot control is bold.
Cancel your order, the car will sell and someone else will be happy to have it. I bought my 2020 in 2021 as a leftover. Not a single day while driving it did the MY of the car affect my experience...
You're not alone. I'm trading my current Taycan on at CT4 that's been stuck at the port since April waiting on a combo of this software and ANA5 (seat wiring harness).
Meanwhile I'm free to drive my current car that both of these issues apply to. Interesting logic.
TYD shows 8/5 delivery for me BTW, but the car has multiple pending recalls and a stop sale which is one excuse why it's still at the port. 8/5 could be a random placehoder, but I'm hopeful to see the car soon. The TYD timeline for the car is really fascinating, literally every process had a...
I have a deposit on a car that I didn't order, I came across it a couple months ago when the original buyer backed out.
I have no idea when the original buyer placed their orginial deposit or order, but the car started production 7/4/2021 and it still hasn't been delivered, it's a 2021.
Hope so! Mine has been stuck at the port in RI. I would assume the port PPI center gets the update as soon as dealers, so hoping to see some movement soon.
Mine has been at the port over a month. Dealer had no details on which stop sale is holding it. PCNA customer support had no details other than an anticipated delivery date of 8/5.
Unless you have a signed purchase agreement you are SOL. Even then, unless you feel like getting litigious you're probably screwed.
PCNA won't care, dealers are private businesses and can transact as they see fit.
Dirty move but seems it worked out in your favor since you started a thread two...
If the car meets the terms of your states lemon law, and you demand a buyback , they know they have to comply with the law. It’s very cut and dry. They aren’t going to offer it up to you, you have to demand it, and your car has to qualify.
They offered to buy mine back and we’re pretty easy to...
Start a case with PCNA and request a buyback once you hit the 30 days or whatever you're state allows.
PCNA will have to comply with a buyback if you request it, but will also offer you a goodwill compensation offer to keep the car instead.
I live VERY close to you, and drive a similar commute. I drove 10k miles last year and it cost me $520. My insurance is less than my former Macan.
You can drive anywhere round trip on Long Island without range concerns, I have gone to Montauk and back without charging.
Car remains in lift until you hit 20 mph. If you want it to lower sooner you have to do it manually, no way for it to save a lower position.
The car definitely should not remain in lift past 20 mph.
You can scrub forward easily in the PCM Apple Music app. Otherwise it's clunky just like everything else PCM. I guess you could also use it if you didn't have your phone, but I'm never in the car without mine.
I still don't use it (or calednar) as CarPlay is far superior for everything it can do.
