On EDF Energy fixed tariff until end September @ 22.28p/kWh (flat) with 24p daily standing charge. Not fantastic but definitely better than the current deals available.
Smooth as butter and comfortable to drive (including during longer trips) and with excellent suspension, yet feels and reacts like a sports car when you want it to. High quality interior and great seats.
The DNA is determinedly Porsche but yet differentiated look from the rest of the product...
you should have told your GF you airlifted the car over the channel with a helicopter;)

“After you've driven a 911 for a while and are accustomed to feeling like you've merged into some magical man-machine chimera, you'll have reason to drive another car, maybe a rental when traveling by air, or perhaps a vehicle you use for trips with the family. And if you've always enjoyed...
Enjoyed constantly great speeds at IONITY and Porsche both in UK and across Europe, except for the one outlier Cobham Services which appears to have serious output issues. Never seen above 50 kW at that specific location.
First time driving down this road from Tramuntana Sierra to Port de Valldemossa was a big pain, especially since it was only a few weeks after taking delivery the car:

Once you get a better sense of Taycan's dimensions narrow...
would be cool if they offered a two seater convertible, current or next gen!

While it is obviously very early days and it is difficult to predict or even speculate with some level of certainty about how much the world of EVs will have evolved between today and 2026/2027, please share your ideas about what type of tech and range we might see in the next generation of Taycan!
Comfort Access resulted in my boot being open for an hour or two while parked in central London - a thief hit the jackpot and hauled a faulty kitchen appliance we were returning. That function was then quickly disabled.
I don't understand how many of these larger London area "official" dealerships can get away with offering such a poor customer experience. I will not touch Porsche West London or Mayfair for future purchases nor servicing.
PID does make longer mundane highway drives far more relaxing and less tiresome. In particular during choppy traffic conditions.
Also helpful for avoiding fines. Just set to speed limit + tolerance and you’re good;)
couldn’t agree more - as smooth and reactive Taycan is on relaxed drives, I am sorely missing those European highway stretches with three lanes+, minimal traffic density and no speed cameras to speak of;)
Pretty much every IONITY station I’ve tried across Europe and UK has charged at 150 kW+ and often above 200 kW, except for the one at Cobham Services which consistently seems incredible slow (max 60 kW) not to mention all chargers being occupied.
Haven't been able to use either the app or the Porsche RFID card at Shell for months - a bit of a deal breaker since the standard rate there is now 85p/kWh.
