Ok, so multiday stand stills should ideally then happen around 50% charge, load <80% when you can, 100% if you have to. Going <20% not recommended. DC hurts more than AC.
is that the fair summary?
Ok, then the next point. What is better?
3 cycles topping up from 65% to 85% (i.e. 3 days in a row)
Depleting to 25% and do 1 cycle getting back to 85% (i.e. once every 3 days)
so less cycle bigger span, or more cycles smaller span…
So please help me out:
- Porsche recommends 85% charging for longevity reasons
- One can configure 85% in smart charging
- One should not go below 20% either
- this effectively gives you a 60kWh battery opposed to a 93kWh
what am I missing here? Does everyone follow this guidance? After 2Y’s...
After a month, 2 things I miss that I think could be easily implemented in PCM:
- Have the ride height made available in the app. Times I park when lifted, are more often than not, because of not going faster than 30km/h between the last bump and parking. Then I forget to choose “deep” and I’m...
All those more “colorfull” combinations will look OTT when the novelty wears off, also they often don’t age well.
black is always distinguished and ages well, never bores.
I prefer the HUD, it’s a lot easier in traffic, rather than looking down to the dash after 5 years with HUD I don’t want to be without one anymore. + you can use the 3 areas behind the wheel for other screens.
That all makes perfect sense, as they say “horses for courses” and it all depends on what you are looking for in a car. Esthetics, raw performance, convenience, utility, luxury? value for YOUR money.
There is no better or worse, there are absolute differences, how you value these are totally up...
just spotted yesterday, mine is not aligned as well.
very unflattering picture, but not ok IMHO.
curious if others can check theirs, because comparing pictures it seems some are better aligned than others. It opens and closes just fine (tested via PCM) it just seats to high?
It’s not only about the engine. options and upholstery are a big part of the experience too.
when it’s parked outside your window, it looks just as nice. And for sure it’s fast (<6sec is faster than 90% of the cars that stop next to you, But it’s not a 4s. But then again, very few are the times...
In the Netherlands there are plenty (100+) new in stock with Porsche. But you have you like the configurations. If you can find one you like, you could drive a new Taycan the week after.
then there are about 200 that just came out of lease, but those are all MY20’s
