My merc e350e hybrid battery was charged from empty to full like every other day, for 5 years, never 80%, just connect up to 100%, drive empty, connect etc.
After 5Y it measured 81% capacity according to Mercedes Xentry. (They have an 80% threshold warranty) but reality was in summer 29km became...
But it seems the app and car both have a different meaning of the word “active”
in my screenshot you see the lower part 2 profiles being “active“ (green) while on the top part it said one. After going in the car and checking the boxes it now shows correctly.
spot the differences:

I do have an energy manager, see the screenshots on page 1,
the energy manager talks to the cars, the cars start charging when tariff is lowest, don’t need to do anything other than desired departure time (if any) and minimum soc. (if desired) the energy manager does the rest.
That’s not to bad, there a plenty of guys who can work these 3 chips, flawless, only touching the chip, no harm to the panel and I don’t mean just filling, but FLAWLESS. They do charge all around 80-100€ per chip, but they are restyle artists. The marring is just a polish. No biggy.

charging profile > location bound, sets immediate minimum charging level and optional smart (cost effective charging) for the remainder. This does NOT set the maximum charging level.
for the Taycan to always stop charging at 85% you also...
So i had setup a home profile active with minimum charge 85% (which I understood is Porsche’s way of meaning maximum charge) and this morning it was still charged 100% ?!? What am I doing wrong? Car was fully charged for 4€ though :p
I’m using Tibber, tonight I can charge at home for as low as 16ct, this is not every night, but I try to plan for when these come to do the bulk of the charging. Variable contract rates changing by the hour. Commited for 24h forward.
trying to avoid DC (Ionity) as much as possible and try to...
