prefatory comment: I absolutely love my 2022 RWD, finest car I've ever driven. Now:

1. let's say the car is unlocked, and keys are in the house. I get inside the car and presto everything turns on as though I was ready to drive away, including AC and radio and lights. So I press and hold the off switch when I'm ready to exit the car but a message comes on saying my keys aren't near (meaning I have to leave everything on until I go in the house and get my keys, and only then can I turn everything back off). Why turn on the car without key but not let you turn off the car also without key? Huh?

2. those info messages as I'm driving away from my house - WiFi is connected and so is my phone. And they're separate messages so you have to click both of them off in order to access the info screen (they don't just go away themselves after a couple of seconds). Wonder if there's a way to disable these messages.
I do get a message that my phone is connected to the car but it goes away after a couple of seconds.

I don’t get a message about WiFi. I have connect my Iphone to PCM in normal mode not CarPlay. So it is connected with blue tooth.

Do you connect to the car WiFi ?

I think comfort access is standard in the US?
There is some confusion.

In BMW’s for example the unlocking of the doors while approaching by proximity of the key is called comfort acces. In Porsche this is called Porsche Entry and drive. And this is an option in Europe but standard in the US.

Someone could capture this signal, copy it and use it to unlock the car and drive away. However in BMW and I don’t know if Porsche does the same, the key now includes a motion sensor and it stops sending the singal when stored.

as mentioned above, in Porsche comfort acces is the seat going back when exiting the car.

You can temporarily turn off the key by holding the lock and unlock buttons for a few seconds. I do that when I’m at home.
