What's the money factor and residual they are giving?

IMO this is a ridiculously high ask, they are having issues selling the taycan. Monthly rate of 2784 with 15k down is crazy. I would shop around. If you are not in a rush and can wait just have them get a few on the lot and by the end of the year they will be giving out 15-20k discounts.

The Taycan is eligible for a $7500 EV credit? I did not think that was the case.

When leasing vehicle you get the EV credit. It’s a loophole.

The variable, as mentioned above, is the MF.
Absent data, this still seems crazy high to me.

The last expensive car that I leased was a 2017 Tesla S P100D. MSRPwas $151K. I don't recall what I put down (maybe 5-6000?) and my payment, including crazy high CA sales tax, was around $1200.

I DO know that they discounted the MSRP by a lot but I don't recall by how much. I DO recall that it was a crazy hot deal so keep that in mind.

$100K for the privilege of driving a Taycan for 3 years seems a little steep to me….

Can you give more details on why the deal is bad? where else can you get 24 month lease for 717 nothing down on a 155k car? Maybe on a BMW XM....
Unless you are referring to the original deal in the tread.

As a rule of thumb…you can assess the relative attractiveness of a lease by looking at the monthly payment as a percent of the car’s MSRP. Anything <1% is generally considered a good deal.

FWIW, I just leased an EQS580 SUV for the missus, and with a $130k MSRP and crazy discounts MB was offering to move excess inventory (plus the EV rebate loophole mentioned in a prior post), my monthly payment is ~$790/mo inclusive of tax, with $0 cap cost reduction on a 10/36 lease. Point of this is….$27xx / month with $15k down is INSANE. Although, Porsche leases have always been offensive because they carry ~8% interest rates.
