Innodrive in Germany is actually pretty decent. Currently it is better than the Autopilot on our Tesla Model Y. I use it on a daily basis in- and out of town.

For the facelifted Taycan they have improved the air suspesion. Having tried both active ride and normal on road and track I would say unless you have really crap roads, problems getting in/out of the car or plan to drive very active just skip the active ride. The air suspension is great. Get the rear axel steer instead.

What ever you do don't drop the ACC. No modern car should be sold without it and it is nice to have when you get stuck in traffic. Innodrive is meh and if you want it later you can get it with feature on demand and test it first.

If you just want the modeldesignation on the back you need to choose " Model Designation on Rear in High Gloss Black " not the option that has electric and logos on the back.
FOD doesn't appear to be a thing these days - no longer advertised.

ACC is most definitely not a must and if standard I'm pretty sure I'd switch it off personally.

Do the 2025 Matrix headlights have the feature that causes the light beams to turn to side slightly when the car is turning? I don't see that feature in your list.
It's not explicitly mentioned but then again neither is PDLS+ on either Matrix or Matrix HD. The J1 Matrix (which I believe are cosmetically tweaked on the J1.2) has cornering lights as standard. PDLS+ includes dynamic cornering and logically both options for headlights given they're matrix will have it.

Your opinion, that's fine. ACC is not on by default so I don't see the problem. Maybe in the US market people don't care. In the European market cars without ACC is harder to sell.

FOD will be back. Just not ready for the MY25s yet.

Updated build. I am reading and re-reading the back and forth on matrix between J1 and J1.2 and it sounds like anyway you slice it the Matrix LED's on a 2025 is not a good option. I am I reading that right?

Still have Active Ride in here......

Understand the 21's will impact range but i don't normally more than 60-80 miles a day round trip for work and for pleasure my days don't go beyond 120 round tirp.

Yea FOD isn’t available for 2025s yet and may never be. I regret not getting ALK/innodrive bc of this. (Did get ACC). A car of this calibre without lane centering has an obvious feature hole.

is that a guess that it’ll return or do you have an authoritative source?

That's what the dealer told me. Not more official then that.

UK is still part of the European market last time I checked (we left the EU and not Europe) and I've not heard of anyone ever demanding ACC as that would be ridiculous. If it were that critical customers would be heavily steered at order time to tick this option. I've owned 8 Porsches since 2003 all sourced new from the same dealership and not once has ACC (when available) ever been mentioned or encouraged nor has it cropped up on resale.

If the car doesn't have the right wheels, leather interior, pano roof , metallic paint, PB+ then these are important items and have a direct bearing on 2nd hand market.

When Porsche make things standard the price goes up (as we've just seen with the J1.2 were several options are now standard - PSP, powered charge port doors, matrix lights etc). As we know the Taycan is already over priced and will soon be reflected in sales volumes (downward trend).

Replacing the other two 'standard' speed control features in place of ACC at no charge I'd likely say something different.

I noted earlier that you should select this Package since you got all options but one in it already. If you choose the Package, you save $1,010. Try it.

I am transitioning from an 2013 Tesla Model S P85+.. I have built this spec out and reviewed and adjusted with my sales advisor. https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PSBJIZT6 Anyone care to take a look and give me some advice on what i might be missing out on or things i shouldn't bother with?
I would put on the 21 in RS spyder wheels in black immediately. I think you can actually spec the car with the satin black on those rims when before I think one could only get them on the GTS. Rims make or break the look of a vehicle IMO. Good luck!

Most UK Taycan has adaptive cruise control from what I can see at auto trader. So that to me would say that most people choose it and want it. All those other things you mention has more to say then ACC. But once you ticked all of those boxes ACC seems like it's next, in the UK market also.

But hey, let's agree to disagree. I would say ACC is a must. You don't. That's fine.
