AC charging issues

probably very late to the party on this but cannot see a thread covering this.

2023 gts - put it on charge last night. this morning had charged to around 80% (not exactly 80%) and the charger (myenergi zappi) had tripped. put the charger back on and now the car won't charge on the ac - screen says initialising. charger says charging delayed.

saw some threads about rebooting the pcm - did that twice - nothing. tried another zappi - same issue. tried the porsche plug into the mains charger - no good either. but dc charging working fine.

am guessing an obc issue that needs a dealer visit?

yes it has the 22kw charger - does that explain it?

More than likely. The 22kW chargers are notoriously faulty. Porsche are no longer able to replace the 22kW OBCs, so are replacing them with the standard 11kW OBC and refunding the cost of the 22kW option (£1,179). Porsche are currently testing a replacement 22kW OBC, which they are hoping will be ready towards the end of this year.

Reboot Zappi: unlock (if you have a PIN set) then press and hold the 3-horizontal-lines for a few seconds. Mine occasionally hangs and needs a reboot before it will provide charge.
