My lease on a 2021 4S Cross Turismo came to an end beginning of this year - I got a great deal on a new (old shape) GTS Sport Turismo discounted around 25%

I’m finding the GTS feels noticeably slower accelerating from any speed

The 4S felt quite violent - The GTS just does not have that ‘shock and ore’ feel

is this normal or could there be a problem with the car?

Should definitely not be the case. From my understanding the GTS has obviously more power but the gearing is a bit different too which should only heighten the difference in “feel”

I went from a MY21 CT4 to a MY24 GTS in May and the difference is phenomenal. I know a 4s would have been better than the 4 but no way should a GTS feel slower.

Fantastic, powerful and a joy.

GTS faster and more rear bias than 4S, I noticed quite clearly when I had a GTS loaner last year. Something not right if the GTS feels slower.

Same drive mode?
Sport / sport+ pulls more power from the battery; resulting it the car accelearting faster and actually feeling snapier.

Gearing - car def changes gear at a different speed

I’m loving the car, more than quick enough, just, not quite what I expected performance wise - it’s in with Porsche, be interesting what they say

In the UK the GTS had the smallest power increment for the largest list price increment when I did a "power for money" calculation (not including launch boost which is of no interest) when the GTS came out - the extra price is more for GTS specific items than power, but it does have more.

I have a GTS. I had a 4s loaner a while back and it felt slow to me in all modes

The more you pay the faster they go. Turbo noticeably quicker and sharper than my 4S.

Driving in sport plus messes up the wheel alignment, if you use it often and above 90km/h it will cause premature (uneven) wear on the tires. I would go as far as severe damage. Check multiple threads on the forum (and even the car’s manual) on this. Just so you know.

as previously stated - 99% of driving was in sport +

It was a company car, so did not care

Agree, it killed my tires on the 4S completely

I thought it was dangerous wear at the time and a fault I needed a full set of new rubber - I think it first happened at about 10k miles.
it Looked like something had rubbed inside edge of tire completely away

I have a GTS ST and drove a 4S ST loaner for a month (recalls of the brake hose, heater, software update, etc...).
The difference was very, very noticeable.... .
I was glad to have my GTS back.
