Air suspension problems

Taycan CT turbo MY 2022 has problems with front air schock absorbers.First left has squiking and then losts air.Now I have the same problems with the right side.Car is on 46000km.No Porsche waranty.Anyone knows for this problems?What causes them and why?

I fixed allready left side with used schock absorber.But after 2 weeks the same problem is with the right side.How is that possible?

Maybe the roads you drive on? It's common to have multiple components fail pretty close to eachother when they're the same age and exposed to the same elements. Cars I've had with air suspension tend to have dealer recommend changing both on one axle, or all 4 at the same time depending on the situation.

Make sure the compressor isn't on it's way out either. If there has been a leak, it can overwork the compressor and accelerate it's failure.

Not really normal to have issues with such low mileage on air suspension on any VAG car.
Changing parts randomly is also not be the solution, whole system needs to be pressure tested and checked. You could have damage in one of the air hoses or solenoid block.

Also good to keep in mind that Cross Turismo has different part numbers compared to Sport Turismo and Sedan.

That should be considered normal. I have no experience with the Taycan air springs yet but the air springs on all my previous BMW 5s would die pretty reliably after ca 50k miles. Replacing one only made sense in so much as there aren't really cost savings from doing more in one go. But the other one would always go within a few months, so it would be another journey to the garage. Purely from a time perspective, when the first one goes, replace all.

These things are made from rubber which simply ages. Bad roads may aggrevate wear but you cannot escape ageing. (For that reason, replacing with a part of uncertain provenance is likely false economy.)

PS: I found the much cheaper after-market springs no worse in longevity than the OEM parts. If anything, they may have lived longer.

PPS: Also bear in mind that the slow puncture you experienced is the most benign death available. These things also happily explode when you can least afford this. My old BMWs would limp on. I rather fear that the modern Taycan with its veritable treasure trove of error messages will demand a flatbed.

BMW is just BMW. I've had multiple VW AG cars with air suspension, some up to 200 000 km and zero issues, and our climate is not exactly kind.

Porsche approved covers suspension parts. Discussed it with my dealer, and they said that the suspension must last the 150 000km that the approved can cover, and if there are defects that are not the result of external damage, then the components are always replaced free of charge, at least that has been their policy. I guess it can differ based on country.
