I've scuffed one of my wheels on a high curb.

Noticeable on the outer rim only.
20-Inch Turbo Sport Aero Wheels.

Any thoughts or experience on how to recover the damage?
Advice appreciated.

I did exactly the same on both my front wheels, same rims as yours. I had my Porsche dealership fix them at a cost of around £300 per wheel because I had wheel & tyre insurance with a £350 max per wheel and decided I'd trust the dealer more than local small shops to sort the issues and look after the car (and provide a loan vehicle)

It's simple wheel repair. Not a complicated or expensive process for such minor damage

Is there any oxidation on the surface?

Had same on mine and covered by my tyre and alloy insurance.
Porsche wanted 150 each and off the road for at least 2-3days.

These guys did on my drive and came via the insurers. Did a really good job.

Hey buddy, I have same rims and a bit more dents than you (and a bit bigger). Some are my "work", my wife made some as well and I plan to fix this way later, or when I plan to sell the Taycan in the future (no plans for that now). As this would never end :)So I would suggest to live with small scuffs for as long as your mind allows you to...

Yeah, I always say some "nice words" when there is a new curb signature. But well, it's life.

I found a local shop that stripped and resprayed the clear coat on one of my wheels. I did not buy the wheel insurance. They charged me $120 since the metal was not scraped.

I did similar damage to 21” spider wheels recently. full wheel refurb was £120 with prestige wheels.
Didn’t want to get OPC involved due to another thread in here.

Around £100 per wheel for diamond-cut finishes like that, needs wheels removed to strip, re-cut on a lathe and repaint/lacquer, several days turnaround (though could be in a months-long queue especially if unable to just drop off the wheels, as repairer will have limited space to store cars).
I've had much worse scuffs removed that way, the only issue is that there's a limit to how many times a wheel can be skimmed on a lathe before it would unacceptably compromise the integrity of the outer rim (and therefore the safety of the tyre).

I would normally go the same way as @WuffvonTrips and take it to have a full refurb at my local wheel specialist, Bespoke Alloys for £90 to £100 per wheel (£84 for non diamond cut) but given you have just scraped off the clear lacquer and maybe very minor scratches to the alloy I would get someone like revive to repair them on your drive.
When I had the same alloys as you I did it myself. The important thing is to seal the wheel again to stop the alloy oxidising and water getting behind the lacquer.

I had protracted discussions with Porsche prior to buying the tyre & wheel insurance. The small print says that painted wheels are not covered but Porsche was selling insurance for my wheels that were partially painted from new. I finally got confirmation in writing that if the wheels were as fitted at collection then they were covered. I couldn’t believe how cheap the coverage was from a Porsche dealer !
Before selling my Lexus I had to get the wheels refurbed for the odd scuff - they looked more noticeable on diamond cut. I was lucky as they needed the car for only 2 days. It may have been a sales pitch, but several specialist told me diamond cut wheels can’t be refurbed at home as they need to be skimmed on a lathe (as Wuffvon said) but non diamond cuts could be.

There are quite a few mobile repairers here who can do diamond cut wheels. I never use them as I prefer the full refurbishment, completely strip wheel, repower coat, bake, diamond cut, lacquer bake again. However, if as in this case it is basically the lacquer that has been damaged, I might use a mobile repairer to just skim off the lacquer and then relacquer.
