Another change in official range for Taycans

Hi folks not sure if anyone noticed but Porsche quietly updated the WLTP ranges on the German website for all Taycan modes, adding 20-25kms (15-20miles) to the range across the board except GTS. When GTS came out first, it oddly became the longest range Taycan in the line-up. With this update, 4S took back the title with 512km top-end range (which was 486km before updats). Separately all EPA range figures on the US website turned “TBD” couple weeks ago. Does anyone know if this is due to a real change/update in software/battery etc or just an update of the way range is calculated (similar to what they did last year)?

the official ranges offered by manufacturers are to me of little value. those tests are IMHO not real world testing, they are testing under almost perfect conditions. the only range that matters to me is what I've learned about what the car does in the situations I put it through.
I never have gotten more than 250-260 miles of range in my 4s with 20 inch wheels, I live in florida so cold weather is not an issue.
the point is that regardless of what the official range is, every car is different as is every driver and their style of driving.

While the actual numbers may not be spot on, an increase in the reported numbers is something to be understood. I would appreciate to know more.

The official EPA range of the turbo S was 200mi. I get over 230mi driving GTA style. The official range is a joke. Adding 15-20 miles would be a lot more accurate without changing anything
