Another cold cabin…

Yesterday cabin was toasty and cosy. Today ice cold. Guess another heater matrix gone to hell.
In 17 months has been faultless. I thought it was resolved on car built end of May 2023.
What is the replacement leading time in the uk?

There are two indications besides no heat that cabin heater may have failed:
1. The precool/heat error message appears when you go into PCM...AC....tab precool/heat. The line for precool/heat is OFF and to the right of that is "precool/heat: system error".

2. Also, when you connect the charging plug and use the charging display in the console, the precool/heat button is dark and depressing it gives PCM info: "function not available".

Does your car show either of these errors?

Could still be the cabin heater itself, but other no-heat posts in here mentioned needing to have heating/cooling system valve(s) replaced.

My heater failed yesterday, a Sep 2023 ST Taycan Turbo S
It was recovered to Porsche today and I might get a hire car tomorrow
My first heater failure in almost 5 years of having a Taycan, lot's of other failures though

Several years ago I lost heating on the passenger side only in my 2020 4 S. It turned out to be a failed servo valve. Your situation sounds like it may be the heater since you have no heat at all. Good luck.

I had no errors but no heat was diagnosed as a new HV heater required on Monday morning and I was back in my car by yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. They prioritise Porsche Assist breakdowns partly due to the cost of the hire car. All the recalls were also done in that time!

Also, for info, mine was built end of April 2023.

Called porsche, they collected the car within one hour. Straight to the bay to be looked at immediately. They will deliver the loaner tomorrow at my address. So far impressed by the e service. Hope they get this sorted in a couple of days… dream?

Received a late call by the garage at 7pm!
Apparently they are all doing overtime because the amount of Taycan they have to repair…
They will not be able to look into the repair tomorrow… early next week they will…

car has been retuned to me Friday Evening and heater matrix has been replaced.
Not great at communicating but all sorted in one week. Porsche Glasgow so far has provided the expected assistance I would from Porsche.

Im in for my second heater in 12 months. Not ideal.
They tried to put me off until February with no courtesy car but but dug my heels in and the are fitting me in on Friday with a courtesy car.
Interestingly they told me it would be looked at quicker if I drove it away and called Porsche assist.
