Anyone Get the Trunk Foot Wave Thing To Work?

Took delivery of my car today! Generally pretty smooth and enjoyable so far. I read the quick start manual and learned there is supposed to be a foot wave feature that opens the trunk. Didn't know it was supposed to be there, pleasant surprise! But after 5min of fake kicking my Taycan in my driveway, I gave up. Anyone else get this to work? Any tricks?

Sure, after my shins were repaired! It works but you have to stand on one foot with groceries in both hands and wave your other foot around...in and out, not side by side...put your right foot in, put your right foot out...etc.

The trunk sensor is offset to the right of center. Kick under the C in PORSCHE. Works every time for me.

Amazing. Works like a charm. I could hardly ever get my hatch to open on my CT or the panamera ST I traded in. And all the while I wasn't using the proper foot wave. Thanks.

I kick under the right side of my license plate. It usually takes a couple of tries. It is a great feature though.

Comfort access needed, and boxes ticked in PCM.

Then a slight kick under where the boot/trunk button is and it opens/closed.

My frunk gesture doesn't seem to be working reliably at the moment, but will see.

I have yet to get this to work. Already made sure everything was enabled. I just gave up move everything to one hand and open with the key.
